I write the Earthpillar novels and half-tales with flavors of epic fantasy, historical fiction, adventure, and steampunk. My debut novel, Lords of Deception, is the core of a nonlinear matrix of books that allow readers to wander and explore an alternative Earth that blends new continents and peoples, political intrigue, fictional materials, and customized medieval and early modern technologies. I write from Virginia.

"Top 5 Novel of the Year" Liviu Suciul, former co-editor of Fantasy Book Critic, Review for Lords of Deception (War of Four Kingdoms 1)

“He knew a narrow deer path that switchbacked through breaks in the rocks and down the ridge. We soon came to flat ground where a few trees populated the foot of the ridge. Sycamores and white oaks, poplars and lindens quickly multiplied around us. Within only a marq or so the trees drew closer and closer together, their roots entangling and branches mingling. The path was fraught with roots that knotted up in strangled bundles until there was no path at all. We were forced to dismount and lead the horses.”
Christopher C. Fuchs, The Depths of Redemption

“My battle with the forest depths was wholly lost, or so it seemed. My hand still shakes with the thought of how close I came to dying, for I felt the burning coldness of Death’s breath upon my face, and the whisper of sliding bones in my ear. But alas, I am still among the living, or so I believe.”
