From Hell is LIVE!
Itโs not my darkest book but itโs certainly was my most fun to write! Love getting into the minds of serial unalivers. Where Viola from my last series was a sociopath through and through, Laine was harder to write as she carries around all the pain and guilt. Definitely my most morally gray!

โI told you, I donโt need protecting.โ�
That makes him chuckle. โYes. You do.โ� He leans close, still gripping my throat, his breath hot on my neck, voice like silk. โFrom me.โ�
His hard body pressing against mine makes me squirm. Warmth spreads through my body. It takes everything in me not to rub myself against him like a cat in heat. His lips brush the shell of my ear.
โDonโtโโhe inhales deeply, brushing my burning skin with his mouth. โDonโt touch me.โ�
โWhy? You seem to enjoy it.โ� he muses, pinning my wrists over my head so Iโm locked down tight. โYou like the part of me that treats you like a princess, but you also like the part that doesnโt.โ�
I hate that heโs right.
I grit my teeth, my chest squeezing tight until he reaches my lips and plunges his tongue inside my mouth, burning away my protests with a bruising, searing kiss. He bites my lips, drawing blood and a soft, pliant moan out of me. My back arches without meaning to, and my legs part involuntarily as his erection drills into the heat between my legs despite our clothing.
At last, his hand slips under my dress, dragging my panties aside. And my world falls apart.
