´Ü´Çë Sharp spent most of her formative years living aboard a catamaran on the northwest coast of England. She opted out of mainstream education at the age of twelve and wrote her first novel at fifteen. She became a freelance photojournalist in 1988 and started writing her Charlie Fox crime thriller series after receiving death-threats in the course of her work.

“Honestly. There are days when I only open my mouth to change feet.”

“It’s green. Not a nice subdued British Racing, more Kawasaki Racing. A bilious shade of lime, bordering on fluorescent.”

“You will be free from pain for a very long time. But not forever, that’s a myth. We don’t live forever, we just have expanded life spans. The average human lives what, 80, 90 years? We live to around two hundred and fifty years. And we don’t turn humans by feeding from you, and I never kill those I feed from. Sunlight doesn’t kill us but it does give us a helluva sunburn. Crosses are still just crosses and garlic, while pungent, won’t hurt us either. Holy water is just water and silver is just a metal. Does that answer all your questions?”

It's a pleasure. I enjoyed the Larsson books once I got into them. Worth persevering! I'm on with a Charlie Fox novella over the summer, which is going to be called ABSENCE OF LIGHT, then on to FOX HUNTER: CF book eleven! Thanks again, ´Ü´Çë

Hi Jeannie. Lovely to meet you, too, and I hope you enjoy the Charlie Fox series if you give it a try :) Spring does not yet seem to have sprung in the UK - still cold and snowy.

Hi Nancy. Thank you so much for that. I'm editing a standalone crime thriller at the moment, then I'll be back to the next Charlie Fox book, honest :))

Hi Aa'Ishah. Thank you so much for the kind words. Hope DIE EASY satisfies a little of your curiosity about what happens to Charlie and Sean. There's more to come, honest!

A Hey Zoe. Thanks so much for accepting! I read mostly YA, with only 2 or 3 adult authors making their way in, and I have to say I still love your books. I remembered Die Easy was still to be released and looked it up on your website today to see good news! I can't wait to see what you have in store for Charlie and Sean. The ending in Fifth Victim killed me.

(I don't usually sound so fangirly on here, I promise. ;))

Hi David
Daniel Silva's stuff is always worth reading. :)

David Hi there Zoe. Right now I am reading the Gabriel Allon series by Daniel Silva. I finished his first book "The Kill Artist" and am on his second book "The English Assassin."

´Ü´Çë Sharp Hi David
I'm so sorry to be so slow responding. July has just disappeared. I've no idea where it went, unless somebody stole part of it when I wasn't looking!

Glad you are/were enjoying KILLER INSTINCT. Hope it gripped you to the end :)

message 12: by David

David DeLee Hi Zoe,
All's going well as I stumble around here trying to find my way. As for the writing, its going great. Thanks for asking.
I'm knee deep in Killer Instinct and enjoying it immensely, as I have First Drop, Second Shot, and Fox Five. Charlie's a great character.

´Ü´Çë Sharp Hi Jenni. Thanks! I'm just about to start edits on DIE EASY, and a few ideas are already circulating for book 11 ... :)

message 10: by Jenni

Jenni Hi Zoe,
Glad to see you on here. I am eagerly awaiting your next Charlie Fox novel!
