Searching for Peace

Peace is like a hidden gem that is elusive. You have to struggle to find it and it calls on the world to embrace it. It exists in our towns, villages and cities. Peace will not search for you but some people will bribe for it; some others will wait and not toil or sweat for it and peace is gentle. It is not expensive and it is not cheap.

Peace is found on the mountaintop and won't reveal where you Read more of this blog post »

Quotes by David Ssembajjo  (?)
Quotes are added by the Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ community and are not verified by Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ.

“A sane person who dwells among the mad will become insane because they will act like the mad. One who cares and treats the insane will have mad traits. A sane man who lives among the mad will be made mad by virtue of his associations and dealings. No sane person can dwell among the mad unless if that person is mad himself/herself. A mad person percieves madness and has no clear object or picture that can come out of his mind. Remember sore grapes can ruin good tasty grapes when taken together. You can't live amongst pigs if you are not a pig yourself. Therefore how can the mad treat their fellow mad. That is vanity too be treated by a mad physician who thinks he is sane. The treatment of a mad person speaks volumes and appears to suggest and show that they are treated in a haphazard way without a clear path in regard to recovering their sanity.”
David Ssembajjo, The Stolen Gift

“There are so many roads in the world and all have a beginning and an end and a road lies ahead to be discovered. A road will take you to a foreign land and no one knows what lies ahead. A road is a destination, it is life, it is happiness and sadness. A road will provide and it will take away. A road will uncover secrets yet unknown to man. A road is filled with expectations and doubt. A road is part of a tradition and culture. Wars and peace have a road to cover. A road will lead to torture and death. Soldiers too will take over the road and cordon it off. A road will lead you to a checkpoint. A road will lead you to a wedding. A road will lead you to pray to Almighty God. A road was discovered by God in the beginning and a road can foretell the future. A road has untold stories that are yet to be discovered. A road was created in the beginning and it prohesied the creation of so many roads and those roads will face judgment. A road can make one to become lost and another to be found. Each and everyone on earth has a road to take. A road will give one laughter and joy.”
David Ssembajjo, Servants of the Underground

“A vote transfers power from the electorate to a politician leaving a voter powerless. A vote deprives a voter to represent himself/herself in parliament and a voter is banned from participating in the proceedings of parliament.”
David Ssembajjo, The Stolen Gift

“There is no master without a servant and there is no country without citizens. There can't be leaders without followers or subjects. There is no harvest without sowing.”
David Ssembajjo, The Stolen Gift

“A vote transfers power from the electorate to a politician leaving a voter powerless. A vote deprives a voter to represent himself/herself in parliament and a voter is banned from participating in the proceedings of parliament.”
David Ssembajjo, The Stolen Gift

“Life is a journey that brings enormous expectations and each journey suffers to renew itself and no one knows where that journey will lead and everyone is comfortable with their journey. Who can foretell the end of that journey?”
David Ssembajjo, Servants of the Underground

“A leader who fails to live amongst his folk will be like a blind man that does not know the light from darkness. Yet a leader who fails to serve but waits to be served will toil endlessly in his rule and he will find no meaning in his leadership. Yet a leader who aspires for glory and fame will be like a cub that can't learn the tricks of hunting. Yet a leader that seeks wars and warmongers will cause depression among his countrymen. A leader that seeks wealth rather leading will make his countrymen corrupt. A corrupt leader will make the country poorer and corrupt because it is his law to be corrupt. A leader must live like his people. A leader will be known by his deeds and not by his name and a great leader will not govern. A leader is an example for all his subjects. A great leader will not serve while the country is getting hungrier and starving but a leader will become hungry like his hungry citizens.”
David Ssembajjo, Servants of the Underground

“A man will not stand alone and a nation that does not respect work will not prosper. Each man that serves will flourish and one who serves will be served. A nation that relies on lazy hands will not succeed and a nation that waits to be served won't gain but will lose out. A nation depends on its servants and where a leader serves no one can dispute the work of a leader. Can a moon take over the work of the sun?”
