Santiago Roncagliolo ha vivido en M茅xico, Per煤 y Espa帽a. Su libro Abril rojo (Alfaguara, 2006) lo convirti贸 en el ganador m谩s joven del Premio Alfaguara de Novela. y est谩 en v铆as de traducci贸n a m谩s de diez idiomas. Su novela Pudor (Alfaguara, 2004) ha sido llevada al cine. Adem谩s, ha publicado El pr铆ncipe de los caimanes y los cuentos de Crecer es un oficio triste.

Tambi茅n ha escrito guiones de cine y televisi贸n, traducciones literarias y libros para ni帽os. En la actualidad, reside en Barcelona y colabora con el diario El Pa铆s de Espa帽a y varios medios latinoamericanos.
