The Process

I have received lots of questions from readers about when they should expect Embrace and Fray. I am hoping to have one or possibly both available later in 2015. I have waffled back and forth with some changes and I think it is almost time for my little darlings to live or die. Sorry for the wait.

Of course, I think listening to this song will keep you obsessed enough to forgive me.

20 Great Musical Moments from Veronica Mars

In anticipation of the premier of the new Veronica Mars movie, which arrives tomorrow, Flavorwire has a great article that chronicles the top twenty musical moments of the show. There is even an amazing Spotify playlist that accompanies the article.

Give it a read, a listen or both. Of course you could do it at the same time if you are channeling the kids at Neptune High.

The headphones are in and this marshmallow is grooving until tomorrow night.

Don’t Bother Me!

Let me back up. The title sounds a little rude. That was not my intention, but I am clearing my calendar. I may even take the day off (Sorry Kids). I have to get my mind right. I might even have to do a marathon session of cramming in order to make sure I am as versed as I need to be to get all of the references. It has been a while, but She is back. Who? Veronica Mars.

Cue the theme song

We Used To Be Friends (theme song) The Dandy Warhols

A long time ago, we used to be friends

But I haven’t thought of you lately at all

If ever again, a greeting I send to you,

Short and sweet to the soul is all I intend.

A, ah-ahh-ahh-ahh

A, ah-ahh-ahh-ahh

A, ah-ahh-ahh-ahh

A, ah-ahh-ahh-ahh

Come on now, honey,

Bring it on, bring it on, yeah.

Just remember me when you’re good to go

Come on now, sugar,

Bring it on, bring it on, yeah.

Just remember me when.

I admit I had to look up the lyrics (it has been a while) but I will be practicing so I can sing along March 14th.

The War Is Real Y’all

This morning my Facebook wall held a link to an article of sheer brilliance. It is an article about the battle between independent (self) and traditional publishing. If you know anything about the self pub industry then you know that one of the champions is formerly traditionally published and now legend in the self pub realms, JA Konrath. He tries to dissect the traditional publishing model with an eye on the future of the industry.

If you get the chance to follow the link then do so because it is a wild ride.

The Season of Love

In honor of Valentine’s Day, Flavorewire has listed the top 25 literary romances. Take a look and see what you think of their list. I thought it was very interesting though just like everybody else I think I could make a few changes.

And It Ends

One of my all time favorite shows calls it a series. Psych will end it’s eight season run at the conclusion of the current season. It will surely be missed around my house. From the theme song to the absurdity to the pineapple, it has been an example of television fun. Thanks to James (Sean) and Dule (Gus) for the joy they have brought not only to us but to so many others.

I can’t wait to see how it all ends. I will now go cry double tears.

The Truth Comes Out

I know this has been a big story this weekend and could possibly expand when the full interview between Emma Watson and JK Rowling arrives on Thursday, but I wanted to say well duh. Rowling finally says what we were all thinking the entire series. I thought the Ginny thing could be a nice diversion for Harry and all as the story unfolded though eventually he would know his true feelings and Hermoine and him would make little Muggle babies. What we got instead was the diversion became a full time romance and Hermonie realizes the love of her life was the less than spectacular Ron. Maybe secretly Rowling decided the control freak that was Hermonie and the weaker Ron would be a good balance for each other. Whatever the case this is a case of an author admitting that maybe I botched this for my own selfish reasons. Honesty can be refreshing.

This is also a good excuse to post a picture of Emma Watson. Lol

Do You Want Personal Inspiration?

It doesn’t matter that this is a beer commercial. It doesn’t matter that it is about the Winter Games. It doesn’t matter that it is posted on a sports site. It only matters that the message is amazing. Drink up and enjoy. :)

Note: It may take a minute for the video to load on a mobile device.

Two For One Special

I could not decide which to post and which to save for later. The first one takes the fairy tales made famous to the masses by a certain company that starts with a D and carried the reader into the darkness that was at the heart of the Grimm Fairy tales.

The second is in support of 50 Books by Women Authors to Read for #ReadWomen2014

I found some books I want to read immediately and some I wanted to explore whenever I find the time.
