Romano Yehudi Solo considers himself as a hybrid (not unlike a mule!) in as much as he does not think of himself as either a city man or a country man. Sometimes he is confused as to whether he is a gypsy or a Jew. Actually he is a Jutane, that is of Jewish father and Romani mother.
