I didn’t just want to taste her, inch by delectable inch. I wanted to feast on her until she screamed my name in dazed repetition.

But first I had to slow down before my own needs flared wildly out of control and I risked looking like the inexperienced one here.

Finesse, I reminded myself. Finesse.

I didn’t want to remind her of Brody.

There would be no rushing, no demands. Just infinite pleasure for Viv.

I lifted my mouth from her breasts and gently pulled away to make sure she was doing okay. But when I looked at her again, I suddenly forgot what I’d wanted to say.

All I could do was stare at her.

Hot damn. She was sex on legs.

I’d never seen anything more tantalizing in my life. The diaphanous crimson material barely covered her lush breasts, and her pebbled nipples were poking through the wisps of lace.

I swallowed with a dry throat. As my gaze drifted downward, the building swell of my erection pulsed painfully beneath my jeans.

A thin, narrow triangle strip barely covered her sweet mound.

God. She was so blond. Everywhere. The red lace, set against the blond patch of curls dusting her pussy ignited a dangerous fire deep inside me.

Damn. It was insane how much I wanted this woman.

She looked so delicious, so delectable that I wanted nothing more than to bury myself inside her soft and pliant body.

But tonight wasn’t about me.

It was about Vivian.

It was all about Vivian. And only Vivian making her feel wanted. Desired.

My hands came up to caress her face and her beautiful doe eyes were fixed on mine.

I caught a glimmer of wariness. A faint flash, but it was gone as soon as it had appeared.

“It’s okay, Viv, I said softly, giving her another chance to back out. “We don’t have to do this.

She considered my words, but said nothing. Instead she licked her already moist lips. Then she rose up on her tiptoes and kissed me fiercely, with no inhibitions, as if to prove to me that she had no misgivings, no second thoughts.

I groaned into her mouth as she ground her hips, rubbing firmly against the hard length of my erection.

Another wave of desire shot through me, followed by a smaller current of misgiving.

I needed this to be good for Viv.

No. Not just good. Damned good.

And I was up for the challenge.

When the kiss ended, I looked into her eyes. “Do you trust me?

“I always have. Her words came easily, and without thought.

Warmth unfurled in my chest at her faith in me. I took her hand and guided her to the leather armchair. “Come, I said again, and this time there would be no turning back.

Vivian lowered herself onto the armchair. As she reclined into the cushions, she arched her back, causing her breasts to rise, and her nipples to thrust out proudly through the textured lace.

I paused to take my fill of her. Then, with my arms braced on either side, I dipped my head and flicked my tongue over the protrusion of her nipple. “Guess what we’re going to do now?

“What? she murmured, her voice low and breathy.

Her creamy breasts were spilling over the crimson lace cups and I traced my tongue over her smooth skin in slow and tantalizing strokes. “We’re going to play.

She dug her nails into my shoulders as I lavished the same attention on her other breast. “We’re going to play a little game called Tell Liam What You Want.

“But … A whispered breath slipped past her lips. “I also want to play Tell Vivian What You Want.

I lifted my mouth from her breast and kissed the frown lines on her forehead. “Sweetheart, if we played that game we’d be here all night.

Her cheeks blushed a deep pink and she looked so endearing I almost lost it.

Moya stayed in the room the rest of the evening. I knew she was upset after seeing Samantha’s text, so I wanted to assure her again that it meant nothing.

ÌýÌý I knocked twice on the door then let myself in when she didn’t respond. She sat down on the loveseat by the window, appearing deep in thought as she picked at her jeans. I sat down next to her.

ÌýÌý “Moya, there’s really nothing to be jealous about.â€

ÌýÌý Slowly, I placed my hand at her back. “Come on, babe don’t let that ruin our weekend.â€

ÌýÌý “I’m not jealous. I’m fine.â€

ÌýÌý “Really?â€

ÌýÌý She rose to her feet, walking over to the window. “Yes. Really.â€

ÌýÌý I got up as well. “You should talk to me when you’re upset, and don’t walk away like you did earlier.â€

ÌýÌý Her expression relaxed as I took her hand. Turning slightly to meet my gaze, she said, “I’m not used to…being like this. I don’t like it. It makes me feel…â€

ÌýÌý “Vulnerable,â€ I finished for her. “I understand, babe.â€

ÌýÌý She faced me fully, her chocolate brown eyes craving for me. “I hate that another girl loved you that much, before me.â€ She laughed at herself. “It makes me seem possessive, but I want to love you more…so much more than she did.â€

ÌýÌý “That’s intense,â€ I teased.

ÌýÌý Scoffing, Moya rolled her eyes and spun away from me, staring out the window again. I edged closer and cloaked my arms around her. “I like how passionate you are, because I’m the same. I want to be your first and your last. I want every part of you, Moya.â€

ÌýÌý Seconds later, I was peering into her mesmerizing eyes again. My heart started to race just as her breathing strengthened. There was something rising between us. Heat circulated in the air, making it difficult to control my thoughts.

ÌýÌý Unexpectedly, Moya pushed into my chest, biting on my bottom lip as she kissed me hard.

We continued for a while, burning up in desire, until Moya yanked on my shirt and guided me over to the bed.

“Hellooo, baaaa-by!

Startled, I floundered to cover my boobs while splashing water over the side of the tub and all across the floor in the process. “What the hell! What are you get out of here! I threw a loofah at him but in my haste I missed.

Ignoring my demand, Rob moseyed over to kneel beside the bathtub, propping his arms on the edge and smirking at my compromising position. There weren’t any bubbles left to hide under, so I quickly drew my knees up to my chest and wrapped my arms around them. “What are you, deaf? I said get out!

“I heard what you said. To my amazement, he dipped his fingers in the water and swirled them around. “Water’s getting cold.

“Then take your hand out of it! I snapped, my cheeks flushing pink.

“I think we should let it out. He reached underwater for the drain stopper, and his grin slowly spread as my eyes widened.

“Don’t you dare.

“See…payback’s a bitch, now isn’t it?

“Don’t touch that drain. I mean it. To my horror, I felt an overwhelming urge to laugh and I pressed my lips together to suppress a smile. For some idiotic reason, whenever I get nervous I start giggling like a deranged person. I have no idea why. It’s very annoying, especially because it happens at the most inopportune moments.

“I thought we were playing You-Show-Me-Yours-And-I’ll-Show-You-Mine. He lifted the edge of the stopper just enough to tease me, allowing a small amount of water to escape. “Well, you had your go and now it’s my turn.

“I think you’ve had one too many beers! That probably wasn’t even far from the truth. After all, I’d never seen him acting this cheeky before.

“Whoops. Oh my goodness what do we have here? He plucked the stopper completely out and held it up, just out of my reach. The water began to rush down the drain. To me it seemed to be disappearing ten times faster than usual.

“It’s not funny! I protested, even though I was struggling not to giggle at that point. My shoulders were shaking.

“I’m not the one laughing, he reminded me.

“All right fine, you got me back. Ha, ha, you’re so clever. At least hand me a towel.

“Mm…I don’t think so.

“Hand me a freaking towel! The water was getting perilously low, and I shoved one foot over the drain to try and diminish the flow.

“You didn’t say please… he sang softly.

“Rob… I looked straight at him then, directly into those hazel eyes, and something I saw in them squashed my impulse to laugh. I don’t know what it was, but all of a sudden the only impulse I felt anymore was the overpowering urge to kiss him. And not only that. I had the craziest compulsion to wrap my arms around his neck and pull him on top of me and let him do me six ways to Sunday, right there in the bathtub.

My expression must have been transparent because his smile inexplicably faded. He hesitated for a moment, his eyes searching mine. For what, I can’t say. But I guess he didn’t find what he was looking for there. Straightening, he tossed me the drain stopper and walked out without a word.

When the speech starts, something about her voice is not right. But when I look up from the brochure, I forget about her voice altogether.

Her eyes.

I know that look in them. Haunted and lost.

I sit up straight in my seat and tune in to her speech. I frown as I start to pay attention to what she says. She has some kind of notes in front of her, but she’s not reading them. I don’t think she’s saying what she’s written on them at all. She speaks of hardship, loss, and the ability to put everything behind through hard work. I have a hunch she’s referring to something more than what’s happening here today. Her porcelain skin gets paler with every word. Her eyes become glassy before long, and then she tucks a strand of black hair behind her ear. I’m sure as hell she wiped away a tear.

No.

Someone like her shouldn’t be crying. Hurting.

I suddenly have the urge to hold her, do whatever it takes to stop what is hurting her. Make that look in her eyes disappear, and make her smile instead.

It’s an urge I don’t recognize.

I also have another urge. I recognize this one. The urge to bite that full lower lip of hers, and run my tongue down her neck, all the way to that sweet hollow. And then rip her shirt. Button by button. Better, even. Rip them apart all at once and cup her breasts. Twirl my tongue around her nipples.

Fuck.

I’ve got to get a grip. I’m so aroused I’d like nothing better than to disappear with her into an empty classroom. But I don’t think she’s the type. Her skirt is a few inches too long for her to be that type.

Even if she were . . . I’d like to do things a little differently than usual.

First, I’d put a smile on her face.

Then I’d get her to beg me to take her.

When everyone applauds and she leaves the stage, I stand up and walk to the front, planning to start the first thing right away. After she shakes the parents hands, and hugs one of the girls who won, she stops in front of a guy who puts his arm around her waist and kisses her.

On her lips.

The view hits me like a whiplash. Of course she has a boyfriend. It’s not like she would wait for me, the biggest fuck-up among fuck-ups, to make her smile. She already has someone who can make her smile.

Except she’s not smiling. After they break from the kiss, her expression hasn’t changed. Whatever causes her torment, the idiot she’s with has no idea how to make it better. Someone like her should always smile. She deserves someone who can make her smile. And this idiot is far from what she needs.

The top 5 things every writer needs.

Ìý

A Nespresso MachineÌý â€ everyone knows that writers need their caffeine.Ìý That the long hours spent at the computer, or even just mapping out a story in their head is exhausting. Coffee is the drug of choice for almost every single writer (and non-writer!) I know. I recently was given the gift of a Nespresso Machine. I wasn’t sure if I would like it because truth be told I’m not a huge fan of the Kuerig. But that’s probably because I’m a latte girl. The Nespresso that I have steams the milk and brews espresso and pours it all into my cup. I add some caramel (what, every girl needs a little sugar in her life) and viola! Instant writer juice. I highly recommend this machine. It’s a genius. And it never talks back like my characters.

2.ÌýÌý Pajamas and sweatpants â€ You don’t actually think writer’s sit around looking glamorous all day do you? Heck, no. I roll out of bed throw on some sweats and a t-shirt and take my kids to school. Then I come home and sit at the computer for as long as my brain will let me. Only after all of that do I force myself to work out and take a shower. Then usually I just put more bum clothes on.

3.ÌýÌý An iPhone â€ because when the characters won’t let you sleep at night it’s much easier to grab your phone and type a note than it is to reboot your laptop back up.Ìý Plus the ease of social media on the go, email and various apps it’s easier to keep up as you move.

4.ÌýÌý An Editor â€ because every writer has issues they can’t fix. That’s what an editor is for. I myself have an ongoing obsession with the word “thatâ€. My editor literally needs a shovel to dig them all out of my manuscripts.

5.ÌýÌýÌý Peace and Quiet â€ Don’t laugh!! I’m serious! And yes, I have kids. I know a lot of people who write with earphones or headphones. Some use music to drown out noise â€ though to me that just creates more noise. I don’t think headphones would work for me either â€ I would feel too much like a pilot or something. My favorite times of day to write are when my kids are at school and I can turn off the TV, the radio and all the noise. I also like to write at night when everyone is sleeping though I admit that’s harder because I tend to get sleepy faster.

So those are my top 5 things that a writer needs. Maybe not every writer I’m sure some require different things. And on certain days I require more than that but I’m trying to keep it simple. J

Huge thank you for having me here today!!

Blog Tour ~ ‘Othello by C.E. Wilson.

‘Othello by C.E. Wilson

(Shakespeare for Everyone Else #2)

Release Day: December 23, 2013

Ûž

Ìý

SYNOPSIS

Shakespeare’s work features some of the most memorable stories and

characters ever created, yet for too many curious readers the

combination of ultra-dense dialogue and unfamiliar historical settings

make tackling the Bard’s work something between a tedious chore and a

confusing mess of bird-bolts and quondam carpet-mongers.

While it’s nearly impossible to replicate or improve on these works,

it is (thanks to their timeless nature) possible to make them more

accessible to a wider audience.

In this Young Adult retelling of one of William Shakespeare’s most

memorable plays, join C.E. Wilson as she breathes new life into

Othello, the second book in her series Shakespeare for Everyone Else.

When Archer decides that he’s had enough of Orion and Devony running

what he thought was going to be his school he takes desperate measures

to ruin everything. Through lies and betrayal, deceit and deception,

Archer will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and he doesn’t care

whose lives he has to destroy in the process.

ÌýBook Review ~ ‘Othello (Shakespeare for Everyone Else #2)â€ by C.E. Wilson ~ 4 Stars!

Any author who re-writes any well known classic to make it more relatable to people today, has a huge feat ahead of them, none more so than authors who rewrite Shakespeare. C.E. Wilson took on an incredibly difficult challenge, and not only succeeded, but also wrote the story so well, that the emotions that are more difficult to experience whilst reading Othello in script form, just flew off the page and I really connected with the characters and storyline.

Being a huge Shakespeare fan, I have read all of his known plays, and Othello is one of the more difficult ones to read and understand. C.E. Wilson did a fantastic job in brining Shakespeare’s characters alive in the 21stÌýcentury, and made their motives, feelings and struggles seem very much relatable to real problems that young people face today. I liked how it was set in a school, which made an excellent way for all the characters to know each other, and have jealousy issues related to school related drama.

I particularly loved how the characters were introduced to us. I really felt the connection between Orion (Othello) and Dev (Desdemona) and I could see the love that they had for each other so clearly that it broke my heart to see Orion’s descent into jealousy. The pacing of the story was also perfectly in line with the way that Shakespeare’s original work was paced. Whilst many may feel the ending is very sudden and not much closure is given, I loved how C.E. Wilson tackled this tragic ending, as it was very much in line with how Shakespeare’s plays do end very abruptly after the final dramatic scene, with less prominent characters speaking the final lines.

I gave this book 4 stars, as there were a few moments in the book where I felt the dialogue was a bit stilted, almost as though it were written for a play and not for a novel, but in the grand scheme of how well-thought out and produced this book was, this was really only a little thing.

This is one of the best Shakespeare retellings I have read, it is incredibly well-thought out and was extremely relatable to young adults, and I feel that this sort of book would have helped a lot of my class-mates when I was studying Shakespeare at school.

A clever, unique and intriguing young adult adaption of Shakespeare’s ‘Othello.

4 Stars!

Ûž

Dear Grace,

My biggest fear, huh? I don’t think I ever told you about my recruitment experience, did I? So the AF reps show up at high school on career day. Bo had skipped and gone somewhere to drink the day away. Lucky jerk. I would’ve cut class that day, too, but I had too many skips and was warned that if I had any more, they would withhold my diploma and make me go to summer school. That wasn’t going to happen.

Anyway, I end up talking with the Army and Marine recruiters. Their spiels are pretty similar. They ask me about my interests, and I tell them getting the heck out of Nowheresville is my priority. The Marine recruiter nods and says he felt the same way. He tells me I can earn money, get my college paid for, and make a lot of friends. The first one sounds interesting, the second intriguing, the third I could care less about. Turns out the last one is actually the biggest benefit of joining.

Later, the recruiter follows up with me. Gives me a huge laundry list of awesome things about joining. I tell him he doesn’t have to sell me anymore, that I’m ready to sign. Only I’m debating between the Marines and the Army. Then I make my biggest mistake ever. I admit that I’m not a fan of water. The Marine recruiter laughs and says, “You’ll be infantry, son, and I sign.

When I get to boot camp they tell me the Marines are a branch of the Navy. The Navy, Grace. The Marine recruiter must have noted that I had an aversion to water, because every punishment I ever received was water-related.

The moral of this story is that I can’t go around telling people my greatest fear, because someone will use it against me. It ain’t water anymore.

The result is nothing she could ever have expected. Lost within theÌýtorrent of human emotions, Thea starts to lose who she is and evenÌýbegins to fall in love with the one thingÌýshe always hated: a hunter.

What makes Transformed a unique story?Ìý

Well, let me first ask you this: how often have you read a book in which God and Mother Earth are siblings? Or a book in which Earth itself is an entity of its own, and prevents God from doing anything he wants? How often have you read a book in which Mother Earth is able to take any form except for that of a human because it is forbidden? Though Transformed is a story about finding one’s self, it also explores the foibles of being human and the value of all life. It is about making mistakes and finding a solution, even if that solution isn’t what was originally intended.

Ìý

Where does the story take place?Ìý

Transformed takes place in a small mountain town in Colorado. This fictitious town resides next to a forest and is green and lush (Colorado can get very dry), and because of its high elevation, it has strange weather patterns.

Ìý

How important are names to you in your books? Do you choose the names based on the way they sound or the meaning? Do you have any name choosing resources you recommend?

Names! Names are so important to me, mostly because I can’t actually write a character without first knowing their name. I can have the perfect scene in my head but until I find a name that I know fits the character, I just can’t write them in. I don’t pick names based on the sounds, but sometimes I pick a name because of its meaning. Mostly I just know when a name works for my character. As for resources, I tend to use lots of baby naming websites.

Ìý

Who is your favorite character from Transformed and why?Ìý

Oh gosh, I’m going to say Cricket. I love Chamber of course, but Cricket is just so fun. Cricket is a girl who Thea turned into a squirrel because she needed to borrow her apartment while she was human. Even though Cricket is now a squirrel, she insists on taking special care of the clothes that she reluctantly let Thea borrow—more like take. Thea, who doesn’t understand why Cricket cares about the clothes, tends to leave them wherever she might drop them. Here is a quick excerpt from the book:

“’You have a squirrel in your sweater. Brice cocked his head to the side. ‘Actually, I think it’s stealing it.

Thea looked over her shoulder to see the little squirrel dragging the sweater across the floor toward the closet. If Brice saw a squirrel put a sweater on a hanger, she would never hear the end of it. She shook her head toward the squirrel, causing the ball of fur to stop and glare before continuing to drag the sweater out of sight. If Thea didn’t start hanging up the squirrel’s clothes, she had a feeling the little rodent would attempt to kick her out.

Ìý

Give us some insight into your main character. What does she do that is so special?Ìý

Thea is God’s sister and has spent her life filling the role of Mother Earth, creating the plants and animals and serving as their guardian. Alongside her brother God, the two siblings used theirÌýlightÌýto create for hundreds of years. She doesn’t understand humans, and she likes them even less. It isn’t until she takes a human form that she begins to understand what she has been missing out on, and ultimately she gains a deeper understanding of her brother and what it means to be a part of a family.

Did you have a specific song or playlist that you listened to when you were writing Transformed?

I actually can’t listen to music when I write. I wish I could. Sometimes a song will inspire me or motivate me, but while writing I need quiet. Of course, that never really happens because I live in an apartment with paper thin walls—but that is part of the adventure.

Ìý

What writing advice do you have for other aspiring authors?

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý ÌýNever give up, and go to writers conferences! I wish I had gone to a writers conference earlier. They open your mind to a side of book writing that you normally wouldn’t consider. You can meet people who love what you love, and it is a great chance to break out of your shell and read some of your work out loud. Not only that but you will meet other writers who will help you through the hard times.

Ìý

What can readers who enjoy your book do to help make it successful?Ìý

Reviews! Social media posts on Facebook, Tumblr, Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ and so on. Word of mouth is huge for any author. There are so many great books in the world that people haven’t discovered, but they only need to be pointed in the right direction.

E.V. Fairfall

I love to write just as muchÌýas I love to read. I try to read a book per week, which doesn’t alwaysÌýwork out, but it’s the thought that counts. Aside from all that I am aÌýhugeÌýanimal person.

Transformed is my first novel, but it isn’tÌýmy first publication; I’ve had several short stories published over theÌýlast two years. My main goal as a writer is to explore humanityÌýand toÌýgive people something fun to read.
