Playing Catch Up!
So howdy all! Where have I been? I noticed that my last blog was March. A really long time ago. The only reason why it has been so long since I last blogged is…well, okay, more than one reason.
Reason 1
General busy took over. Just stuff. Writing stuff, producing stuff, screenplay writing stuff.
Reason 2
Laziness and lack of enthusiasm for blogging. Yes, I’ll admit it. As a creativity coach I saw myself becoming more and more lazy all the time and something gave way. It was the blog!
Right now I’m playing catch up after a trip to Colorado to visit family and to watch one of my grandson’s graduate from high school. Travel tends to suck the life outta me, and the laziness I’ve mentioned above threatens to take over again. But I blogged today! Yay!
While certain types of slugfest was going on in April and May, I put together the Haven Trilogy. The Haven Trilogy (formerly called Redemption Ridge Trilogy) is a series of short novellas all taking place in the general world of a small town. I wanted to release the stories again, and you can find all the links in case you didn’t pick up the trilogy before. All three stories are in one ebook.Â
Other plans? Complete another draft of a horror screenplay, write a story for a horror anthology that comes out this fall, and continue to plot world domination with my production and film and television partners. How fun is that? Plus, I’m changing my newsletter. That’s another reason why you haven’t seen a newsletter from me in I don’t know when. I hope to have that set up by July sometime. Fingers crossed.
Cover goodness! I finally thought of a name for my novel set in Indonesia during the eruption of Krakatoa in 1883. Swept Away (formerly called That Novel About That Thang). I decided I’d have a cover created even though I haven’t finished the book. It’s motivation. So here ya go. The cover was created by EmCat Designs.
Thanks for indulging my lazy, and I’ll talk to you again soon.
