FINDING ONSELF
“We are what we are. This is what we use to tell ourselves on many occasions.
But have you or anyone of us ever thought it for a while that why we say so?
I guess yes. If you are reading this then it should be considered that you are among the community of individuals who wants to analyze the purpose... I won't say what purpose but ... A PURPOSE, it can be any.
An idea, feeling and emotion can be perceived by a human from external sources but the origination of understanding comes from within, and no one can induce that. The same is the case with finding oneself. One can find oneself only if the felling of search comes from within.
Have you ever thought of the reason why the monks, pandits, and people who are exceptionally happy, how they achieve that position, happiness, calmness?
Some of us thinks that it is by meditation, but what is meditation- is it simply closing of eyes and concentrating ....NO.. IT IS NOT ...
The answer lies in the path of achieving that meditated state.
We all know it is not just a mere hours or weeks or months job, but sometimes it takes many years to achieve that permanent state of what we known as meditation.
But what is the key to meditation?
The only logical purpose of meditation is to analyze and find from within-
1] exactly that what we are?
2] what others are?
3] and what is the real fact of our existence?
Life is not that complicated what it seems to be or what we have made it.
Whatever may be the number of individuals in this planet, the ultimate need and means of happiness is SAME for everyone.
They are the secondary needs which are discriminating us from each other.
The cycle of life is same for everyone, the result of needs and happiness which comes once we achieve something we planed is same to everyone, it does- n't matter that one achieve a noble prize and one achieve a high school best student prize but if one had really put an effort for that, the extent of happiness is near about same. Similarly when one is jealous then it didn't matter whatever may be the reason of jealously, the effect will be same and the only difference which will vary will be the way we react on our jealousy.
I hope you might have got an overall idea of what I am trying to tell you.. believe it or not we are same, our real needs are same, this is the one thing which the meditator knows and believe it to 100%,and follow it.
This can be observed by the way of their dressing, similar way of haircuts, similar ways of living and this gives them a feeling of equality and happiness.
we don't have to be a monk to learn these simple facts of life, but there are some points which we should always believe in. Specially at the time of our losses, the time when we discriminate or get discriminated, the time when we hate someone or been hated by someone. Because the laws of simplicity will always be true whether we believe and follow them or not.
