listen... it actually started off pretty strong. i liked the writing at first—it felt lyrical and moody, and the concept had so much potential. it was slow, yeah, but i was intrigued enough to keep going. but somewhere around the halfway point, that intrigue just faded. the plot felt repetitive, the pacing never picked up, and i realized i was forcing myself to keep turning the pages. i wanted it to be emotional and powerful but it ended up feeling hollow.

where do i even start?? what do i do now? this is probably one of the most beautiful and breathtaking books i have ever read. the story was so unique and the book definitely touched my heart. the writing was literally incredible. and as they say, i didn't finish the book, it finished me.
i'm going to add quotes and more to this review later (when i actually gather my thoughts) soo full rtc!

Spoilers Ahead!!
So I bought this book because of a reel I saw on Instagram (never trusting that option again). I had HIGH hopes for this book, like I expected it to be a 5-star read. From the beginning it was so boring, I kept expecting it to get better as I kept reading but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations :(
Delving deeper into the book :
The story goes back and forth between the past and present, but why is it from 300 years ago? I expected maybe there was some plot to ...more

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is beautifully written, I just wanna cry. Some things irritated me, of course, but I guess that's the point of reading, for books to evoke different emotions in us. While the romance actually didn't make any deep impression on me, I think I fell in love with the main character.. Addie, Addie, Addie, how could I forget you? <3 ...more
