My first experience with Hemingway. This book is different from other Hemingway works and definitely has a strong love story element to it. He doesn't seem as cynical in this book as in others.

this was my first hemmingway book. I LOVED IT SO MUCH. ohh myy goodness.

I loved the writing and wish the narrator wasn't that normal. I thought he was a bit too weak at the end.
