For me, a book becomes a "real" book when it gets into the hands of readers. (And yes, that's when I feel most vulnerable too.) But I write books to be read. And so the best thing is when I have a chance to connect with readers. When we can talk story -- my stories or someone else's. It's sharing a common love: books.
