ŷ asked S.D. O'Donnell:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

S.D. O'Donnell If you aren't patient, learn how to be. If you go traditional, you have to be patient to find an agent, a publisher, for the industry to get the book out. If you indie publish, you have to be patient about your time (marketing vs. writing, how do you do both?) and about book sales. With indie publishing, it starts slow and builds.

Most of all, you need to love working with words, because whether it's for marketing or your next fiction, they will be the tool you spend most of your time with.
