It isn't the best one in the series. It has some good moments but some really annoying weaker ones. The last three books have been pretty heavy, so this is a lighter tone which I was ready for. However, I thought given the victim, the mystery aspect would be more interesting and developed than it was.
I wouldn't rush to buy this one straight away, but it would make a nice Christmas read for a fan.

I really enjoyed it. It's not as heavy or gruesome as some of the other books have been. It's got some nice light/funny moments in it. I think for people who love the characters it's a great book. It's not as much a stand-alone, so I wouldn't recommend anyone start reading the series with this one.

Absolutely! I have read the entire series over the past year. I enjoyed this book and am awaiting the next! I totally enjoy this series! Definitely start at the beginning and read them in order! I may just do it again I enjoyed them so much and there is much you miss in clues an will pick up as you read.....

Best one yet. Once again a good solid story (how many ways can people kill each other? Ask J.D.) The ongoing characters continue to develop and share more of themselves, while pursuing justice. Great!

I find it fascinating that Ms. Robb continuously comes up with new mysteries for her In Death series. I've made it my life's ambition to own each volume and have made a good start in that endeavor. Nora Roberts or J.D. Robb--a winning combo!
