Dr Sowell is in the twilight years and I wish him many more years. He has been a breath of fresh air to me and I am so thankful for finding his books. Clear and concise. Who among the current economists and authors would be closest to Dr Sowell views, in a sense I'm looking for the person who will take on Dr Sowell's mantle so I can have a few others to enjoy and learn from? Thanks.....

Well I would say Milton Friedman but chances are if you know Sowell you know Friedman as Sowell studies under him and they both made appearances together. Current day I would recommend John Stossel and Reason magazine which he has worked with.
