Renee asked:

Does anyone know where I can get an ebook copy of House of Leaves? I couldn't find one one on Amazon. Thanks!

Melanti Sorry, you need a paper copy.

There's a LOT of really odd formatting and the book really can't even be released in mass market (small sized) paperback - let alone e-book.

There's sideways writing, upside down writing, diagonal pages, writing right over the top of other writing, etc.

In fact, scroll down through this review and you'll see photos of some of the pages: /review/show...

I guess it's possible that they might sell a PDF version some day but I think you'd still be better off with having it in paper. (And this is coming from someone who LOVES ebooks!)
Melissa To take in the true effect of the author's desired disorientation and confusion, one must read it on paper. At one point, I had three spots saved in order to comprehend the story, just can't achieve that properly with an electronic version. Totally worth the trouble, though my brain hurts as I've juuuust finished it.
Sue I agree with Melanti, this is one book you really do have to physically hold. It requires you to really engage with the paper - turning it around, upside down, several blank pages, the footnotes etc. As someone who loves her e-reader I wouldn't consider reading this electronically, or listening to for that matter.
L I downloaded the epub version, but then went and ordered the paper copy, everyone here is right on the money. Some books just need to be held, as much as I love my various reading gadgets:-)
Gooch Ebooks are lame period.

I just re-read the question. My link is for print copies only. I don't think that there is an ebook version.
Carla Barnes There's a PDF version on Scribd
Marion Dude, really??? Get TWO paper copies and consider yourself in school for a PhD in reading. One book to highlight, dog-ear, cat-ear, underline, coffee stain, toss against walls, add footnotes, sidenotes, topnotes and bottomnotes, toss into the trash, drop in the bath, take out of the trash...well, I had to have two copies and did all of the above to it and more. It's like reading several VOLUMES of the most insane (in a good way, but you only feel good AFTER you've spent a year or more of your life reading the book five times to understand it all) story ever told. Then go on Instagram and follow MZD because after all that, you'll feel like you know the guy...but you won't until you read all the volumes of "The Familiar", but that's for another page. Happy reading. I have no regrets for the year of my life I spent with MZD. And I buy all of his HOL shit at yarnplusink at Etsy, too, because I'm nuts about him and that book. What author do YOU know who can cause you to spend a year of your life ripping yourself inside out??? Right, not one! Aha!
Louis Roussel A house of leaves without leaves is no house. Forget about digital copies. Read the real thing.
Hudson61 You will miss a lot of the written intention and design if you tackle this electronically. This book can be very intense if given the attention. Good luck. I thoroughly enjoyed the read.
Di Hi I got my copy from book depository online and then they delivered it to me by mail, so worth it
Andreea Dumitrache Read this to find out why there shouldn't be:
Jessie You should NEVER EVER read this as an ebook! You will lose so much! It's not just text! :-)
Natalia Martinez En este caso, como lo es raramente, no es recomendable la lectura electrónica. El libro papel tiene cosas que no serían apreciables.
