There's sex and violence, to be sure, but I wouldn't describe it as "graphic." But judge for yourself; the worst description of a murder scene, IMHO, is this: “The killer drugged her, then tied her to her bed, and then carved the word bitch on her belly. She bled out.�

I assume you're asking whether you should even bother to read it for yourself if there's too much graphic content...because you would NEVER put a book into the hands of students without reading it, right?! The sex isn't graphic at all, but there are at least 9-10 murders.
