Phill asked this question about The End of All Things (Old Man's War, #6):
So is this the same as reading the four short stories? I cant understand why authors are trying to make things more confusing with episodes, and then a book that's all the episodes, or maybe it has more?

I think it makes a lot of sense to structure it this way. Each episode has a self-contained story but when read all together make a bigger over-arching story. It's the separate-but-related structure that I enjoyed in The Human Division and Redshirts too.

That said, I waited for all four episodes to be released in a single volume this time. As much as I enjoyed The Human Division, the logistics of having 13 ebook and audio book files is a pain.(less)
