Hi, I love Linesman and Alliance and re-read to discover new things / continuous enjoyment. Can't wait till this winter for book three! My question is around age and I apologize if it's been asked before. Are we meant to know how old the characters are? I was trying to do the math and figured Ean was around 32? Michelle is meant to be similar but I have no idea for Radko, Abram, etc. Just curious :)

You’re right about Ean’s age. He is around thirty, and Michelle about the same age, just tiny bit older. There is less than six months between the two of them.
Radko we think of as somewhere around three to five years older than Ean, no more. She’s one of the younger people on ship.
Abram � when we started the first book we planned for him to be around fifty, fifty five. Although, to be honest, we think of him as more late forties.

Thank you for your Linesman books, I have a lot of fun rereading them :) I realize there's quite a few age queries below, but exactly how young is Wendell? And at what age was he made Captain? For that matter, what is the average age to become a ship's captain? Lastly, what color are Wendell's eyes?
