The main characters -Violet and Xaden- are very well developed. Violet Sorrengail is extremely relatable and I love the nod to having a chronic illness. Xaden Riorson is a dreamy bad boy rebel shadow daddy. Yeah, I want one of my own. As the book goes on, you learn more and more about the characters and they both grow in different ways. Regarding the side characters, you'll hate some and love others. I definitely have a favorite few. And well...THE DRAGONS. I love them, especially a few in particular. I also really like just how detailed the world building is in the book; the more you read, the more you feel like you're actually right there with the characters. The plot has a good mix of fast and slow paced scenes that weave together perfectly. In addition to that, the spicy scenes included in the book are well placed and add to both the overall story and the relationship of the main characters. This book is one that you don't want to miss!

Captive of the Horde King is an Alien/Science Fiction Romance. It is a fast paced book with character growth, interesting characters, a streamlined plot, and a delicious amount of smutty spice. The world building in this book is fantastic and the chemistry/romance between the main characters is on point! I definitely recommend it!
