Hugh just having a feeling about Mark at such a young age is so sad. Whenever there’s a chapter with Mark and Lizzie I can’t stand to read it. So horrible. This book really makes you see Lizzie in a different light than how she was portrayed in all the others.

I love that Joey and Lizzie just seem drawn to each other and just in each others corner. If I didn’t like Aoife so much I would root for the two of them. I just love Joey lol always.

Then Caoimhe saying “I know she has nightmares she keeps me up at night with the screaming� the fact that her parents and her sister just lay in bed and listen to her scream is crazy like mind blowing omg.
Hugh being so young yet being so mature to handle Lizzie and Gibsie even though he doesn’t know the full extent of their problems is so awesome. But all that these kids go through Gibsie, Lizzie, the Lynches is so gut wrenching.
Mark killing Caoimhe was not what I expected but it all 100% makes sense now. I hated that this book was flashbacks but once again it was sooo needed for everything to come back full circle. Why Lizzie hates Gibsie and why Lizzie’s the way she is.

Finished the book and literally all I can say is wow. Once again Chloe freakin Walsh put me through so many emotions that I didn’t even think it was possible. Also the ending. Hugh just absolutely breaking down and them just being done is so sad. I know there’s so much more to their story since we didn’t even reach Binding 13 in the timeline let alone Taming 7. But wow. Chapter 8 and 9 and 10 obsessed!!! Walk him like a dog Aoife omg. And Joey the things he says I would crumble every time.
The ending of part 3 had me shocked, disgusted, and so beyond sad. Part of me wanted to be mad at Aoife but also like what she went through no one should have to go through. Then I was mad at Joey for not telling her why he wasn’t at home to make her less angry with him. Then Joey going to Shane tbh I couldn’t even blame him.
If Aoife doesn’t freakin tell Joey she’s pregnant I’m gonna scream like girl is waiting foreverrrrrr. When she finally told him though I’m so happy with the way Joey reacted!
Getting to the part where Teddy beats Shannon so bad again makes my stomach sick and I was like anxious to read it.

I’m so happy that Aoife found out what was happening to Joey and the Lynch kids so much quicker than Johnny did. The way she cares for him and loves him and hurts for him. She is so so awesome. Also their banter is so great. They both just speak their minds which makes it all the better.

This book honesty disappointed me up until about 70% of the way through then I started liking it. I’m so happy it picked up because I would’ve been so sad if I was disappointed the whole time since I loved the first two books so much.
Calum being Pae’s father and Kitt being her half brother was nothing I ever expected. Also I am so happy that Kitt believed Paedyn right away and it wasn’t some long strung out thing.
Was not expecting Kitt to die and truthfully hated the whole him like turning crazy/turning on Paedyn plot.
I do really enjoy the way the book ended. Kai and Paedyn really getting their happy ending with all they’ve been through and with a little girl too so cute. 63% into the book and there was still no set relationship between Lachlan and Lark besides their “marriage� and I honestly really liked that. They were def warming up to each other though. I loved the way Lachlan was so attentive and sweet towards Lark in his own ways and how they were both slowly but surely realizing they liked each other but just didn’t want to admit it yet. Talk about slow burn.

Adonis being so sad about Eris (Aphrodite) marrying Hephaestus broke my heart omg so sad.
Right off the bat chapter 2 I am drawn to Hephaestus. Probably just because of the “bad boy� vibe he gives but I like him.
I love how much Hephaestus and Pandora care for each other and it’s refreshing that it isn’t really in a sexual way.
The part when Eris was breaking down after she almost got shot and Hephaestus and Adonis were taking care of her. AHH my heart.
I like Pandora, Eris, Theseus, and Adonis relationship together a lot. Their banter is cute and each of their personalities are so different I really like it. Like a little family!
Loved seeing Achilles for a split second in this book since in Radiant Sin we only saw Patroclus and Helen. Loved that it showed Achilles protective side of course.

I so wish Kai and Paedyn would just give into their feelings for each other in the beginning but I also love all the little moments that they give each other without meaning to. Like that they still care and feel for one another even when they want to hate each other so badly.
I feel like there banter is just different. In the first book it was pretty basic but this second one they are trying so hard to fight feelings and both feel betrayed by the other so the banter is just better.
The sewer scene omg gets me every time. The way he cared for her and just reassured her even when he was terrified himself ugh omg.
When Paedyn is being such a badass killing all those people with the bow and arrow all because they hurt Kai I think that’s finally when it clicks for her that she loves him. So great. Then the way Kai just takes a kill for her because he knows how much it kills her omg I can’t even put into words the love I have for these two.
Overall Kai truly yearns for Paedyn and loves her with all of his being and I am obsessed. When Paedyn finally admits to her feelings I wanted to scream!!!

Kai and Paedyns relationship in the beginning where she’s trying to hate him and he’s so intrigued by her has me kicking my feet.
The banter and tension between Kai and Paedyn is so great I just wish this book had like an ounce of spice in it. There is soo many opportunities for there to be some good spicy scenes.
It still hurts my heart the way Paedyn betrays both Kai and Kitt. As much as I want to understand and support her decision I still hate the pain she put Kitt and Kai through at the end of this book. Not for killing the King but just for lying and stringing mostly Kitt along.
Going through this book a second time I completely forgot how much I adore Paedyn and Kai. This man yearns for her so much and I love it.
Adena’s death is absolutely gut wrenching every time.

The way Bailey cares so much about 2:11 and his feet is perfect. Also love how she’s so blunt, funny, and strong. Bailey has moved her way to #1 when it comes to FMC of the chestnut springs series.
Beau and Bailey need each other so much and are the perfect pair for each other. Both have been through so much and I love how deeply they care about each other.
