But the story surely is older than that. But the retelling, If I dare call it such a thing is done wonderfully, captivatingly. Its the first novel in the Park Avenue Prince books and as soon as I click submit on this review, I’m starting book 2. Its like when you know what’s coming and you’re both dreading and hungry for it at the same time and as much as I adored West, I wanted him to suffer more and have to work harder to earn his way back into JT’s arms again. Xavi and Nate are glorious and beautiful in their raw pain and then there’s the love, the love denied, the love scrabbled and clawed for and finally the love found and given. I feel like I’ve been on the proverbial emotional roller coaster. The ride ends perfectly. I loved this book so much...more

I just need to unplug or something because everywhere I look, there's book recs and well then there's these covers that make a boy hummmmmmm.... one thing lead to another and I start on Choke Up and dear god in heaven....lol. I'm humming again. @rebeccaratheauthor you are going to make me lose sleep... ALOT apparently. I'm almost finished with Choke Up and will be starting Man On before the days end I'm certain. Gabe and Ellis are just perfection. I love everything about this book and its written so beautifully. I can't wait to start the next one and the next and the next. If you haven't read @rebeccaratheauthor I highly recommend Choke Up. SO much so I couldn't even wait to finish the book to do a shout out. Visit her website too. She has a goal of $20,000 for donations to LGBTQ & BIPOC communities with her 2025 preorders. It was $10K but she's already surpassed that goal. So go and preorder and then get Choke Up because as I might have mentioned... It's glorious. Okay....back to reading. :)....more
