This was a pretty good book. I've read one other ST book and didn't like it at all (Hard to Hold). Of course you have to suspend your belief in all things real, but I honestly didn't mind since I did enjoy the ride Ms. Tyler took me on.

The hero was quite likable. Strong, alpha and fell in love super-quick (kind of like a LMR hero). Loved that while the heroine was physically weak, she was not a weak woman. The secondary romance with Cam's friend Dylan was enjoyable as well.

I'll definitely keep an eye out for the next book in this series.

ElaineY Is the series one of those loosely-connected ones where they merely belong to the same agency or are the stories themselves connected and not standalone? I want to start this series but I've only read one Tyler Harlequin years ago so I'm not familiar with her work.

Norma Umm, hard to say. The same characters are mentioned and you are familiar with each character (as the series goes on) when they get their own books. There is an underlying storyline that goes on, so I guess you do need to read them all.

I'm not sure that I've reviewed the others here, but I've read a few in this series and I've enjoyed them enough to continue. Now that I think about it, it's all tied in and I think you shoudl read them in order.

Thanks, Norma. After I posted my question, I felt stupid for wasting your time because I would have started from Book 1, anyway. It's just that Book 4 sounded good to me and, like Pamela Clare's books, I was wondering if I could just read that first.

Norma Not a waste at all! Like the PC books, some are better than others.
