This was a fabulous story. I loved it. It's exactly what I needed. It has some dark moments due to Kit's past but it also has some good moments. Definitely has a slow burn romance just not one that spans the series. But it was done so well it had that same effect as if I'd read about the romance in 3 books.
Damon is the Alpha's second? I'm not sure. He says he's just and enforcer so. Who knows. But the Alpha of the cats is bat shit crazy. Damon hires Kit on her behalf. Her nephew is missing.

Kit is stuck with Damon and through that they investigate trying to find Doyle the nephew.

One major issue I had with this book is that it needs a better editor. There were many sentences that didn't make sense due to how they were worded. There were many typos as well. It only detracted from the story slightly but this is such a good read it could be even better with some clean up.

I will definitely be reading the next book.

Amyiw I need to move this up my TBR. This is Shiloh Walker and I've liked other books that she has written. Now to her UF pseudonym.

Do her other books have editing issues?

Amyiw I hadn't noticed editing issues with
Broken or Fragile for sentences and such. I actually liked the way they flowed. Maybe a different editor? I got the audible of this so won't notice the grammar errors.

Yea blade song had a lot of them.

Amyiw So I mainly listened to this as it finally came out on Audible. I did read a little of it (maybe a chapter) and didn't find any editing issues. Either I didn't read long enough or my copy being the latest, is edited better?

I really, really liked it and almost want to give it a 5 star. My only issue was jumping on the Jude or Damon train with so little knowledge. I will go to the next only when I can read two in a row since the next is a big cliffhanger and leaves Colbana screwed, from everything I read. So want to have both ready to go.

It could be an older version I know I got it from Overdrive but idk it felt like it was barely edited. And idk how libraries go about updating some of their books.

Yea cliff hanger books I want to have the others ready but I the next one the synopsis bugs me or the plot bugs me idk so I know I need to take a break before I read the next one. Plus with my slump sheesh.

See Amy I think you and I have similar tastes when it comes to UF and slow burn romances, I think we need to toss books at each other that fit this lol.
