Edmond Dantes is a sailor of Le Pharon ship, he is a 19 years old from Marseiless France. When the Captain was sick, he told Dantes to give a package to someone in Elba island.
Because of the message he sent, he is truly on top of the world, his boss promotes him, he will marry the girl he loves, and he is still young, brilliant and handsome too.
But his colleagues in the ship envy him. One day he was arrest for treason. His life turned out upside down.
In the prison he met a priest and they tried to escape together.. His encounter with the priest give him a new hope... And he wanted to do a revenge to his unfaithful friends.
I read it for a long time, not because it's boring but i have to get used to the unabridged version of this book. And of course i could only read it in the middle of night. This book is so good, i wish i could see the movie as well.
