Wow, this had a wild start all the way to the end.
Officially making plans to read Danielle Jensen's backlog of books

Read My Honest Book Review on My Blog:
There was one point in this story that 90% of me was thinking to myself "This is a little too happy." Then WHAM crap hits the fan and Danielle pulls the rug from underneath you and gives you a solid ending.
This was a cool story. The FMC is really tough as nuts and is a BA in this. Not just all bark and no bite. Our FMC Lara can fight without hesitation. I wish I saw more of her assassin abilities in this one but there is a good chance I will see it in the next book for reasons that I won't say.
The story did drag a bit in between 60-80%. Lara was getting comfortable with her new world and with her new husband. But it got a little mundane and I almost wasn't enjoying it for a bit there.
I cannot wait to read the next one because this one slightly left me hanging.

This is the first book I ever read by her so I am really excited about this one.

I’ve read four of her books and she always keeps them fast-paced and story driven with exciting openings. Danielle Jensen is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I’m excited to hear what you think once you’re done ☺️

I was fortunate to get her new book as an ARC! I cannot wait to dive into it

YES! It was so good. The beginning and the end. *chefs kiss*
