Kiki Strike The Empress's Tomb was another mystery featuring Kiki Strike and the Irregulars. I loved the first book in this series, Kiki Strike Inside the Shadow City, but I wasn't sure what to expect with the second, as it was much harder to get my hands upon.

Everyone has secrets. The girls' bonds are stretched to the limits as they discover that they haven't been completely honest with one another, and some of the things that they've held back can have a profound effect on their success as a new rash of crimes and mysteries present themselves to the girls. Giant squirrels muggers, missing artists, and crazy scientists studying child prodigies are only part of the problem in this fast paced, funny tale.

I loved this one as much as the last, but I'm a little worried because, while almost every problem gets solved, the book ends with a cliffhanger, and I can't find any information about a forthcoming follow-up.
