Steph (angel4492) | 32594 comments Wow, that's pricey. I grabbed Cat's Meow when it was free in Dec at Amazon.

message 252: by Lis (new)

Lis | 4034 comments Ezinwanyi, I grabbed Cat'sMeow in December when it was free. Check out the SOS freebie thread, Val and others are great at posting the freebies there. This one will probably be free again.

You can grab the Dublin short story from this link found on goodreads...

message 253: by Ezi (new)

Ezi Chinny (ezinwanyi) | 2516 comments Ohh, sorry, yes, i read the short story, I thought it was Book 1.

I do check that freebie thing too often (LOL). Thanks I will keep my eye out for that book though

message 254: by Lis (new)

Lis | 4034 comments When I read the first one, I didn't know it was a series. I see another book is going to be released in 2013. I'd add the link, but GR gremlins aren't cooperating.

message 257: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) | 2883 comments So I am 10% into Fire Baptized (Habitat, #1) by Kenya Wright and I am really liking it. It is so good, very different.

message 258: by Tiffani (new)

Tiffani Day | 35 comments Regina read the synopsis of that and added to my tbr pile sounds like my kind

message 259: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) | 2883 comments It is good! I don't know why I waited so long to read it. I bought it a few years ago. I think I was worried because I am GR friends with the author, but I shouldn't have been worried it is good. I heard it is more PNR than UF, which I am fine with.

message 260: by Tiffani (new)

Tiffani Day | 35 comments I'm more of a pnr gal but I do enjoy the uf as well I saw on the book page the author reviewed the book like a regular reader and that made me a ill more interested for some reason

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9653 comments Started Prince of Thorns (The Broken Empire, #1) by Mark Lawrence on audio. Not my usual fare but I like it so far.

Sandra | 25889 comments Reading Tricked (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #4) by Kevin Hearne and I'm hooked!

I really enjoyed that one, AH! I'm reading The Madman's Daughter based on your review and loving it.

message 265: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) | 2883 comments Gotta say I am enjoying both of my books so much right now:

Fire Baptized (Habitat, #1) by Kenya Wright Outpost (Razorland, #2) by Ann Aguirre

Glad you're liking those!

I have to read Fire Baptized - I've heard mostly good things about it. And Outpost has been on the to-read for a while now.

message 267: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) | 2883 comments Did you read Enclave? I forgot.

I really like Fire Baptized in that the characters are not cookie cutter type PNR characters, the powers are unique and (weirdly) I like the love triangle. I also like how sex is addressed in the book -- these characters do not hold back.

Nope, I am seriously behind on the Ann Aguirre series.

CassieCruel (faith_isola) | 89 comments Just started Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between (Rhiannon's Law #1) by J.A. Saare & Spider's Bite (Elemental Assassin, #1) by Jennifer Estep

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9653 comments After seeing the previews so many times and being assured by hubby that he will never go see the movie....I started Warm Bodies (Warm Bodies, #1) by Isaac Marion . I'm not really a zombie fan but this one is different enough to be entertaining.

message 271: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32594 comments I'll have to keep an eye out for Shimmer of Angels.

That one surprised me, Val. I really liked it.

I'm finally reading Rhiannon's Untold stories. I'm a little into the first As the World Dies Untold Tales Volume 1 by Rhiannon Frater and will probably read the second As The World Dies Untold Tales Volume 2 by Rhiannon Frater next. I love that zombie-filled world and didn't realize how much I missed it. I see there's a third listed on GR, but can't find it anywhere and it's not listed on her website. So, guess it's a TBP.

message 273: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) | 2883 comments I finished Fire Baptized (Habitat, #1) by Kenya Wright and loved it. This book should be picked up by a mainstream publisher. I am deciding if I should read The Burning Bush (Habitat, #2) by Kenya Wright or Silver by Rhiannon Held

I finished listening to Outpost (Razorland, #2) by Ann Aguirre and really liked it. This is my 2nd favorite series of this author after Sirantha Jax. I am reading a short in this series Endurance (Razorland, #1.5) by Ann Aguirre and I started to listen to The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf (Naked Werewolf, #2) by Molly Harper

message 282: by Lisa (new)

Lisa | 18 comments Almost done with Pleasure Unbound (Demonica, #1) by Larissa Ione which was part of the recommends challenge- so far I am loving it! it's been on my TBR shelf ages but I think Kiss of Midnight (Midnight Breed, #1) by Lara Adrian and Kiss of Crimson (Midnight Breed, #2) by Lara Adrian put me off PNR for a while.

Next up will be Witchblood by Emma Mills and some uni course books.

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9653 comments Lis and Steph...you are motivating me in reading more freebies. :)

I'm done with Cat's Meow (Predators, #1) by Nicole Austin and found it lacking in certain aspects but but Monica's Secret (Erogenous Zones, #1) by Saskia Walker is nice and sweet so far.

I finished the aduio of The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf (Naked Werewolf, #2) by Molly Harper and I liked it. Nothing mind blowing, but it was fun.

I am also reading Silver by Rhiannon Held and I am liking it a lot.

Cant wait to start reading.

Anybody know where I can get the Jane Yellowrock Death's Rival ebook? Amazon only has the audiobook. sniff sniff

message 299: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32594 comments Hi, Carma. Welcome to the group! I bought the eBook from Amazon: But, it may be US only. Did you try any of these? Not sure if they're available in Mozambique or not.

B&N:
iTunes:
Diesel eBook Store:

Good luck! I'm located in Japan, but have a US and Japan mailing address. So whenever I see "Sorry but this book is currently unavailable in your country due to restrictions from the publisher." I'm lucky enough to be able to fall back on my US addr.
