Bryony has very long, dark hair that she often either has down, slightly a mess, or pulled to the side in a braid. She has very pale skin which refuses to tan, but won't burn, either. Her eyes are large and startlingly blue. She's lithe and tall, and quite lovely.
Personality: Bryony is very quiet. She won't speak around most people, and overall she appears to be quite glum. Calling her frightening is an overstatement, but she is rather mysterious and--yes--creepy. Bryony is brave; braver than others know. She would risk her life for almost anyone. She is very intelligent, and wise beyond her years. She prefers to be alone, rather than with groups of people--or anyone, almost, at all. Bryony's trust is something that is difficult to gain, but once you do earn it, she is one of the best friends that you could ever have.

The weapon was sent to her as a gift from Ares (with a note from Zeus telling him to get his daughter a weapon). Dahlia dislikes the weapon, but has discovered that she is quite good with using it.

Description: As a little girl, most of those nicknames she was dubbed by her joking classmates had something to do with her somewhat...for lack of a better word, unusual appearance. Sparky for her electric blue eyes, Curls for her wavy dark brown hair and the Lanky One for her awkwardly tall frame. If she didn't laugh, Dahlia's features would look as though she was grafted on a marble statue similar to the ones in a Greek museum. Her eyes are her greatest feature; electric blue and, if she can get away with it, rimmed with a touch of eyeliner every now and again. They are the hooded, and sometimes half-closed as Dahlia doesn't get that much sleep, and framed with stubby black eyelashes and thick eyebrows that she fixes up every now and again. She has wavy dark brown hair, which she streaked as an experiment with a line of midnight-blue. She usually ties it up in a braid, which keeps it out of the way, although there's often strands in her face. Dahlia is long and lanky, and despite the smile often on her face she boasts a posture that makes it apparent her father is none other than the lord of the sky, Zeus.



Personality:

Ever since she was little and pored over the pounds of books in her mother’s house, Dahlia has been immensely creative; she appreciates a good story but she wanted always to try her hand at putting the pen to paper and writing her own story. She has always been writing whatever comes to her head, even if it's nonsense, because no idea is too outlandish to be printed under endpapers and a cover. She has never been bored for this aspect of her personality always keeps her busy, for she can sit for hours pondering on the next thing to happen to her little made-up friends. She isn't very obvious about this talent, however, though every teacher she's ever had has told her that any job that doesn't involve her creativity is not a career she should pursue.


She's never been able to succumb to anyone's plea to let them help her, or ever accept any help from someone who isn't herself, because she is an independent woman, who lives alone in her apartment and never accepts money or advice from anybody, not even the well-known advice from any of her heroes. Dahlia even stays up sleepless nights and days, so as to not have to need anyone to help her, so she can fend for herself throughout her life, because as far as she is concerned she'll never get anywhere if she asks for anyone to run her life for her.


Despite her daydreaming tendencies, Dahlia also inherited her father's realist views, as she doesn't believe in fate or destiny; only that good things come to those who work for them. She is extremely headstrong and stubborn in these beliefs, which is why she works as hard as she does; so the things she wanted as a child would happen to her, when she worked hard for them.


She is a very good fighter and is extremely headstrong. Perhaps it’s to do with her ADHD, or because she’s a daughter of Zeus, either way she is very good with many weapons. Despite her name, which is a flower, Dahlia is not girly, but she isn't boyish either; more a mix between them. Still, it was a good flower for her mother to choose, because in Victorian flower language it means elegance and dignity, and she is a closet flower lover.

To this day, Patricia Chaste is not sure how she caught the eye of Zeus, king of the gods, as she was only an intelligent girl fresh out of Cambridge University. Still, she is somewhat happy because of her little girl was so beautiful when they gave her to the mother. Despite how hard Patricia tried, she never silenced the baby's crying, and so she called for help from her mother, who suggested marrying to get a father for the girl. Patricia liked the idea; after all, she only wanted what was best for her little Dahlia.

It was when Dahlia was only two that her mother married Max Trieme, who was...alright. Dahlia could always sense he wasn't her real father, and she disliked her stepsister Catherine (daughter of Max's divorced wife Elizabeta). Her other stepsister Gwen was quite nice, and the two girls forged a friendship, the older (Gwen) keeping an eye out for the younger (Dahlia) when she finally got sent to school. Despite how Dahlia had been looking forward to going to school, she began disliking it as soon as she started going as she discovered she had ADHD and dyslexia and so her classmates picked on her for being 'stupid'.

Dahlia encountered her first monster when she was four years old and walking home from school with her stepsisters - Echidna with her chimera. Gwen and Catherine, who couldn't see through the Mist, bent down to pet the cute little puppy; which roared at them and tried to kill them. Little Dahlia screamed and ran up to the top of the wall. "Dahlia, it's just a dog," Gwen told her, trying to get her to come down, and no matter how much they told her, Dahlia would not get down, until she did and the dog snapped at her and scratched her arm. The three sisters ran home, Catherine and Gwen not sure how to explain how Dahlia had that scar there on her arm.

Dahlie grew up, from that little girl who used to inhabit the Daughter of Zeus's body, to a young woman, and she often encountered monsters. She would just leave whenever she saw them.

It slowly became clear that Dahlia was what her teachers would dub a 'problem child'. She barely ever passed her tests, acted up in class, broke rules and lost her temper with the teachers; whatever it was, Dahlia got expelled from every school she went to; until she was enrolled at Bellerophon Academy in 2005, a place with a satyr and another demigod, Edwin. After the school year ended and they came across the fates (who cut Edwin's string), the satyr, Beth, confided in them that they were demigods. Dahlia was outraged that her mother didn't tell her this, and she

confronted the woman. Patricia revealed why she didn't tell her, and informed the girl that she had to go and get to camp. Dahlia set out with Beth and Edwin the next day.


Outskirts of New Jersey

It was just outside New Jersey that Edwin died. He was attacked and killed by a manticore, and Dahlia was heartbroken. The girl insisted on burying him properly on a patch of grass they found. With a sigh, Beth helped Dahlia do it and on their camp, Beth would often hear Dahlia crying about her best friend's death. After a few more weeks they finally arrived at camp, after getting lost around the US twice, and it took Dahlia five months to be claimed. Outraged that Zeus had yet another girl, Hera almost vaporized her, but thought better of it; after all, she might grow up to be a great heroine like the Hunter, Thalia.

When Dahlia was fifteen she was chosen to go on a quest to stop a rouge demigod, and she almost died in the process. Luckily, everyone survived, though Dahlia was in the infirmary for two weeks afterwards. She succeeded on the quest and was given her laurel.

~Atmokinesis: Dahlia has a minor degree of control over the weather. It is not even close to matching her father but she may be able to call lightning from the sky.
~Electrokinesis: Dahlia has electrokinesis (control over electricity and lightning) due to her father, Zeus, the god of lightning. Calling down lightning bolts are a lot harder than emitting static, as it makes her ready to faint.
~Dahlia can send powerful amounts of static shock throughout another person's body on contact. She can emit static sparks when she is angry, which are electric blue like her eyes.
~Mist Control: Dahlia can manipulate the Mist, which means she can make things appear as she wants them to appear to the eyes of a mortal.
~Zeus' Authority: Things that belong to her father's domain can do as she asks, such as statues of the angels near San Francisco, which were gifts to her father.

As a stress reliever she would shoot bows and arrows. After a huge fight with her dad she went to shoot some arrows when a Minotaur came at her. History: Her mother joined the woman marines. When her mother suffered a fatal injury, she visited Hades for a few minutes. In that time, Hades fell in love with the charisma your mother had. Hades came up and gave birth to you. Later on, your mom gave birth to another kid who was normal. His name was Luke. Your mom died a month after giving birth. Of course, Luke's father was an abusive alcoholic and he blamed Peyton for her mother dying. Peyton who faced her step-father nightly was rescued by Hades himself. Luke was taken to a foster home and life went on!

History:one day Arika was five years old, and her mother took her to go swimming. Arika was saying, "Mommy, it's so easy! All you have to do is breathe underneath the water and move your arms and legs and you can move SUPERFAST!"
Then her mother remembered that she was the daughter of a god.
Ms. Rivers was married to Poseidon before Percy's mom was. They married after Poseidon confessed his feelings when he saw her win first place in the Olympics at a swimming contest.
The two never technically divorced, just that when they had married for exactly one year he left, saying he couldn't leave the water any longer and never should've come out anyway. This was a lie, as Poseidon simply had the hots for Percy's mom. But he never told Rivers, which is why Arika and Percy have bad blood.
One day in the fourth grade, when Arika was nine, she told her mom about how the kids make fun of her and say she's a witch when she washes her hands and the water floats. Her mom said that it was time to go to camp.
So she went. She was unmentioned in the books because Arika had learned to conceal her water powers so she wasn't in Poseidons cabin, where her dreadful half brother was.
