I kinda want to re-read the Percy Jackson series. Just finished watching The Sea of Monster and that made me want to read the whole series again. I think I need to read the Jason series first. I need to read a lot of books.

Karen that makes my eyes hurt! I would have to put those away and just take out the top 3 I wanted to read or I would get overwhelmed.

Jenny I have to read Game as well. I bought the audio for super cheap from Audible awhile back.

message 15: by Charmaine (new)

Charmaine (empress_charla) | 143 comments Jenny: I borrowed Diamonds & Deceit from the library, too :-)

My TBR list is crazy, but these are the ones I most want to read right now:

-Finish the Lying Game series (now reading the 3rd book)
-Finish Mortal of Instruments series starting with book 2, and then the Clockwork books

-Also want to read Rebel Angels (Gemma Doyle, #2) by Libba Bray Shadowlands (Shadowlands, #1) by Kate Brian The Testing (The Testing, #1) by Joelle Charbonneau The Fault in Our Stars by John Green Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys

When I finish those (or most of them), I plan to finish the Harry Potter series (starting with book 5), the Chronicles of Narnia, and Artemis Fowl series :-)

Seriously, Heidi!! I have no idea where to put them though. I want to redo all my bookshelves and I think I'll have a shelf of JUST TBR books.

Charmaine I am so jealous that you are reading Harry Potter for the first time! Book 5 is one of my favorites.

Haha, looks like my TBR pile. XD I have all these used books I've bought over the past couple of years that I haven't read yet...

message 19: by Jenny (new)

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 1572 comments Karen we have to read Fireblood next weekend before Trisha's Q&A!!

Karen’s Library | 574 comments Yes! I hope to finish my two reads this weekend.

message 21: by Ashley Marie (new)

Ashley Marie ackkk
I've got a huge TBR that I need to finish by the end of the year, let alone the massive TBR that is my bookshelves. anyway.

Froi of the Exiles and Quintana of Charyn (2 & 3 in the Lumatere Chronicles)
Throne of Fire & Serpent's Shadow (2 & 3 in the Kane Chronicles)
Emperor Mage (4 in the Immortals quartet, and a reread)
Blood of Olympus (5 in the Heroes of Olympus series)

along with anything in my 2014-october or 2014-november TBR lists. sigh.

message 22: by Heidi (new)

Heidi | 6961 comments Mod
I am right there with you with the tbr books Ashley. I love the Lumatere Chronicles btw

message 23: by Jen (last edited Oct 11, 2014 07:18AM) (new)

Jen (jenwesner) I don't even want to talk about it.

hahaha

Karen’s Library | 574 comments I'm whittling down my pile but then keep adding to it. :-\

message 26: by Jenny (new)

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 1572 comments I've started going through my books once a month and making a TBR for the month, but with extras. I don't expect to read them all, but it helps me not get too overwhelmed, and then I still get lots to choose from.

This is my November TBR. I've crossed off the ones I've finished. Books always get added in, for example, going to start a buddy read of Fractured (Guards of the Shadowlands, #2) by Sarah Fine today, but this does make it easier for me! I'll do the same thing for December, maybe adding some of these books on it that I didn't get read :)

message 27: by Heidi (new)

Heidi | 6961 comments Mod
Great idea Jenny! I wouldn't even know how to do that.

message 28: by Jenny (new)

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 1572 comments LOL I just made a Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ shelf, added in the books, then took a pic of it on my screen. Edited it with Paint, just used the paintbrush to cross the books out :) Nothing fancy. It works!

message 29: by Heidi (new)

Heidi | 6961 comments Mod
The paint is where I might get lost! I might make a list for Dec. and see how it goes. Thanks for the idea :)

Nice! Last year I tried to plan out my TBR by month, and it worked pretty well for a while ... I just got lazy, lol. But maybe I'll start doing it again in 2015.

*b*l*u*e*m*o*o*n* | 986 comments Mod
cool idea! I'll try it for the new month as well. Just not as fancy as what Jenny did!

I made one. No idea how to cross them off but what the hey!

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) Some books on my T.B.R. list include City of Bones, Divergent, I Am Number Four, and The Selection.

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) I've been picking my next 5 books and putting them in a folder on my kindle, then removing each one as I read them and starting over when they're done. Sometimes I get side tract though. I should do the same thing with a Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ folder.
Right now my next 5 are:
Jubilee Manor (Landry Park, #2) by Bethany Hagen Onyx (Lux, #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3) by Sarah J. Maas Survivors Secrets by Violet Cross The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness

Ashley Marie

here's how I keep track of mine :) the tabs across the bottom separate my currently-reading (which often isn't as up-to-date as the rest), 2015 buddy reads, 2016 (!) buddy reads, and then a month-by-month list of what I've got planned out, which includes buddy reads and non-buddy reads.
