Is anyone interested in reading The Mortal Instruments series together? I know I'm probably the last person on Earth who hasn't read them, but if there is someone else out there that would like to read them with me, Let me know!

This will actually be the first time I've listened to the books. I usually read the physical copies... but I don't think I can wait for my copy to show up. I think I'm on a list of like 150 people or so at the library.

I know this isn't totally helpful but Brie and I are doing a buddy read when her book comes in the library....one person ahead of her. so we don't know the date but the book.......... !

I don't think there is a time frame, there will just be a start date.

I'm prob picking it up early next week. You all can start because I actually started reading this a few months ago and I'm prob just going to pick up where I left off. I think I was around 150 pages in. What I read was really good. I'm not sure why I put it down lol

Was curious if anyone wanted to read a series together in the upcoming months? I haven't read a lot of the more popular series, such as The Raven Cycle, TMI, Vampire Academy, The Selection, etc, so I'm open to pretty much anything?

We are starting the Raven Boys in Jan. as a group, you should join in. We are also doing a buddy read on the Fever series that is going to be starting soon. Love to have you join in.

Ohhh. I didn't know. Do you all just read a book in the series per month for the monthly read? And I'll pick up a copy of Darkfever too.

We have series reads and we will read book one in Jan then book 2 feb and so on. The buddy read will be less structured and you can read at your own pace and just check in.

Awesome! Now that the holiday craziness has slowed down, it will be nice to finally get some reading in. And I've been looking forward to buddy reading so I'm excited!

I think we should start thinking of a few "creature" buddy reads throughout the year for those who are participating in the Creature Feature challenge; it may help.

Fever will qualify.
for those that don't like the yucky gross zombie and prefer the funny version there is a great series Living with the dead. Book one I would be down with a reread of these guys. If you are looking for Angels Premonition series starts with .

I added , it's the second in the Seraphina series. We read the first a while ago, and I didn't love it but didn't hate it so I thought I'd give it another go.

It doesn't matter to me. I haven't read any of the newer books and only a few of the more popular older ones. A series would be fun, but I'm open to anything :)

Brie and I want to do Daughter of Smoke & Bone series starting Thursday 9/29. Maybe some of you would like to also join in?

With the "Best in Category" out now, it's making me realize I've read nothing this year!! Who wants to read some of these "best of" books?

I am just starting . It is nominated in the Fantasy category.

I see that #2 in the duology has been nominated, I've been wanting to read it and it's had great reviews.

Oh yeah! I need to read the first one still Brie. I do own it though on Audible so I could probably get through it pretty quickly.
