I tried reading the latest Dean Koontz book, The Crooked Staircase, but I just couldn't finish. It's not a well written book, too wordy, and there's an obvious agenda that's not supported by facts.
Haven't read a really good novel in a while. Any suggestions?
I'm reading The Poisoned City: Flint's Water and the American Urban Tragedy, a non-fiction work of journalism that references everything from environmental problems , to politics, and even civil rights/racism issues. My reading is almost complete and I'm already recommending it to everyone interested in our 'modern problems and challenges.'

Currently reading Blood in the Snow: The True Story of a Stay-At-Home Dad, His High-Powered Wife, and the Jealousy That Drove Him to Murder and really enjoying it.
Currently reading the third book in the "urban fiction" series by Richard A. Knaak,
Black City Dragon
. It is set in Chicago during the prohibition era. All three books have been, to this point, well told good stories.
