Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3569 comments Unfortunately, Phil, her profile is set to Private, so there's no option to follow, so I have no idea whether the books she posts are good, bad, or in between. She obviously doesn't care to share, so I'll continue to question why she posts what she reads. This is, after all, a book club, so you'd think it would be about sharing books, not about withholding reviews. Not surprising, though.

Those both sound good, LG. I like having a fiction and a non-fiction book to read simultaneously. You know what I mean? It's like exercise for different parts of my brain.

Cynthia, that's exactly what I do too.

Kymberli Briggs | 4 comments I am currently reading "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers. Oh my word, so heart wrenching.

I'm about 200 pages into Moby Dick. I'm reading my parents' old Modern Library edition which apparently they bought right after they were married. Both their names are written inside.

I finished tallying my 2024 reading.

Fiction: 89 books
Nonfiction: 64 books
