Well, then you don't seem lik..."
What I'm hearing:
-you cook for your family
-you help your sisters with homework
-you want to spend money to take care of them
-you're not in college now, but you're paving your way to university by learning German. German.
To me I think it's an extremely selfless thing because you're literally spending so much time caring for your family even though it is not always reciprocated. Sure, everyone has things they can work on, but I'd gladly have a sister like you if I could and I think you need to accept some credit for the things you do. You're really not a bad sister, Maya. *tackles with hug*

(I am trying to come up with an argument that will win this debate but I will most likely say the dumbest things because I don't know how rebuttals work :') )
Learning German and failing it like a boss! If you drop me off in the country right now I won't be able to talk my way out because everything will be lost in translation. Also I guess I'm supposed to be caring for my family because...oldest kid responsibilities maybe? So it comes naturally and plus if I don't do it I don't know who will even step up -_- Credit? What's that? :D Kidding, but it's something I'm supposed to do, so I can't do that. But your post got me a bit teary (in a good way; emotional day ahaha--) and thank you so much for your kind words. *bear hugs*

Aww no problem :') Honestly though, to this day my dialect is terrible, let alone a whole other language. I think it's so brave to go to a country that doesn't speak a familiar language to study. While I get the eldest kid responsibilities bit, I don't think it should be a given and it certainly doesn't means your family can hurt you either. Frankly, I doubt I'd be this tolerant if I were in your shoes. If anything, they should cherish you more for what you do and the fact you're trying so hard to care for them.

Hals, Hals, Hals! But you do know French, right? *stares* (I think Welsh is so cool tho) Unfortunately it's not good enough for the requirements needed for some unis, because basically they want it to be as fluent as native speakers :/ I'm not so sure about the best siblings part, because tbh I think I just care a bit too much naturally. It's not offensive, I mean I find myself thinking the same thing at times *clears throat* but somehow they always give reasons with support and backup. I feel so touched though :') I don't know what I would do without you guys. Here's a heart for you💖
Jingle- ain't that always right? Promise to vote her for president when the day comes :P I'm sure that's not the case - Ok I didn't know dialects could be terrible, 'cause y'know, dialects are dialects and if you even speak it, you're a special snowflake. Technically I chose Germany because some don't have tuition and my wallet likes the sound of that :') and their psychology courses ofc. I don't really know about my family and I doubt I'd make sense of this situation anytime soon, but I'll hold on a little longer. Thank you! Here's a heart for you too💖

President??? *cough cough cough* Nooooo leadership and I are enemies! xD
And Mays,

Well I don't know too much about politics, but I think you'd make a great one xD

I know nothing about politics! I doubt that xD

By the way, if you guys are talking about Witenberg I’ll tell you that you guys were awesome mods. Part of the reason I joined was because it was the most organised group I saw :) (to this day I still shudder at the first draft of Leila Stars I presented there though)

Hals- I get the thing about fake smiles, but I'm sure not all of them are. I find it easier to smile than frown (ok this is pretty biased because I overthink every time I receive a frown sooo) Well thank you for teaching me everything about being a mod :) and about rping in general. Great to hear! Aw, same for you! I need to woman up before my heart softens too much. And we'll always be here for you!
Jingle- no worries, just look at this late reply. Sorry you have to go through that! I think it's cool to know dialects though; people over here speak varieties, so if you pick up pieces here and there you can manage to roll with everyone on the streets. Organization? *points to Hallie* all her doing :D I think the draft was great! p.s. was that your first time rping?

Well, technically it takes more facial muscles to frown than smile xD So it's natural for you to feel that. Just kidding! I get you: it feels better than frowning. I didn't teach you anything! You were already a great mod! Haha xD
Look at what Jingle has done! Now half the world will be dead! xP Organized? Actually someone told me that it was disorganized and left the group. I don't know whom to believe.

Three cheers for Wikipedia! xD

Hallie - Trust me the group was organised xP I'm extremely picky (I can't even begin to elaborate how picky) about how groups are run and set up because I only stick to one or two roleplay groups at a time. Perhaps the person had another point of view, but I felt like your group had very clear structure and rules :)

*stares in shock* That was easy! xP
:( Can you wake her up and....? No, never mind. Younger sisters are sometimes a pain (I'll pretend I'm not one for now xP)

Good to hear! That reminds me, I haven't

Haha any plans for Christmas? I woke her up more than 2 times and she fell right back asleep -_- Have you ever had your sibling write your homework for you?

Good to hear! That reminds me, I haven't stalked your thread in a long time. I'm alright, quitting rps here and there ..."
I wonder if that super power can come in handy in any situation...Please let me know if there is one. *gasps* doing tests and going on goodreads at the same time?? You're taking multitasking to the next level :P Focus on the tests first!! Good luck!

Haha ummmm..... Studying :( Not that I remember. I once made my brother write me an essay for a contest, but he volunteered for it himself and I did let him have the prize.

Sorry, I didn't mean to get all personal, I'll leave now.

No no it's okay, and wow I relate to that on a spiritual level, although I still live with my dad. I'm sorry about that, and you can always talk to me :)

Yeah, I live with my mom obviously and my dad was talking about having us over for Christmas and then got upset when he found out Mom already had plans made, so instead of taking all three of us like he promised he's just letting one of my brothers visit him to be all uppity again.
I mean, my middle brother does really want to see him, but so does my baby brother. He hasn't seen him since he left us several years ago.

What's funny is that the family member I consider myself closest to is his own mother, and my grandparents are nothing like him -_-
