This is one of my favorite challenges. Last time, I was on both SS and SSS. I decided this round I would just sign up for SS due to summer vacation.
I live in Kennesaw, GA (US) and am in the Eastern Time Zone. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you!

I live in Southern California, so Pacific Time zone...

I'm from Serbia, little country in south-eastern Europe. I'm on Central European Time.

How about some phrase for team name?
- Cloud 9
- Booked up to the Nines
- The 9th Degree

I vote for you to be captain! I don't mind helping out if needed. I debated about signing up for both again, but I have several books to read for challenges and didn't want to cut myself short. I was on the winning team for both last round!!

So you'll do a selection post and then also a Completion Post. I'll link all the completion posts into another thread once everyone on the team has done one. I'm a very fast reader so I'll probably have my book done within 24 hours the first time and you can look at what I do to go off of. You'll catch on quickly! There is no limit of stand alone books as long as there is a 1 or 0 in the number of the spot we land on.

I really enjoy this series - it's been one of my favorites.

Sorry to hear about your dog Danielle. I hope he/she is OK now?"
Thanks he (Rex) is doing better but I'm going to take him into the vet. He's a Bluenose pitbull with really bad allergies. I'm really careful about what I feed him but he seems to be having a flare up.

Week 1: Spot 6
Book: Count to Ten by Karen Rose
How it Fits:6th Book in Romantic Suspense Series
Date Read: 7/15
Rating & Review: ★★★★
Although this book started off a little slow by 30% in I couldn't put it down. Nobody writes villains better than Karen Rose. They are creepy, terrifying and believable. I liked both MCs and although the suspense was stronger than the romance I enjoyed both aspects. This book packed more of an emotional punch than I thought it would and from unexpected places. It made me laugh, cry and walk away thoroughly satisfied but sad to see it end. At least I know there are many more to come in the series.

How the book qualifies: #6 in Eternal Guardians
#of pages: 299 Pages

No you can easily read these out of order. Some of the characters carry over but they play minor rolls in the book and there isn't anything that happens that you have to know. You can easily read this one without having read any others and not miss out on anything.

I finished my book late yesterday and had planned to post a review today. Back from vacation and I am slammed at work. I will post first thing in the morning and well advance of our roll.

Finished with my book too. I was just lazy to post a review. I'll do it today.

Week 1: Spot 6
Book: Branded by Fire by Nalini Singh
How it Fits: #6 in 'Psy-Changeling' Series
Date Read: 16th July
Rating: 4.5 stars
After a 3 year long pause, reading another book from 'Psy-Changeling' Series felt like coming home. Everything I loved about this series was here.
+ Enemies to lovers romance (They agree like cat and dog - literally.)
+ Slow building of affection that blooms into trusting relationship.
+ Mysterious kidnappings
+ Intense hunt for the bad guys
+ Added depth to the world and couples from previous books.
Delicous until the last page!
If you like paranormal romance, I warmly recommend this series.

I have really enjoyed this series but I just couldn’t really get back into this world. The reader met the two MC’s in the last installment. I really liked both and wanted to get to know them better. The world just didn’t seem polished as friends and companions were missing the solidarity that was found in previous installments. At times, the Argonauts didn’t appear to be friendly or even heroic.
As with all of the other character’s Titus and Natasa have special circumstances as well. Titus has a knack for reading other’s thoughts. Unfortunately, due to tricking a witch, he is now cursed with feeling their thoughts as well. Natasa is a descendant of Poseidon, which leaves her in high demand by the Olympians. I just didn’t see the kindred spirits between these two.
On a secondary note, Isadora is pregnant with her first child. She is torn between two men who both want her for their soulmate. Both are brothers. Demetrius is her husband, and Nick and Demetrius are twins. I could not for the life of me remember why both are in love (or lust) with Isadora. Isadora and Demetrius are bonded due to Hera's curse causing opposites to attract. However, I don’t see the logic of Nick also vying for Isadora’s love. Of course, both men want to be with her when she delivers her and Demetrius’s child - WHAT!!
I really liked the first few books of this series but either the installments are loosing their luster or I’m just not digging the mythology like I once did.

Book

How it fits sixth book in series
I have really enjoyed this series, very much .... Picking up this book was like visiting old friends, old friends who all need therapy ... Well maybe not all ...
Anyways I have followed these characters from the early 1900s and it is now the 1970s, so many crazy things going on .... And even though this probably wasn't my favorite of all the books in the series, it definitely did not disappoint, it definitely kept me wanting more ...
Jeffrey archer is a very good storyteller, so if you enjoy historical fiction with a touch of soap opera, you will really enjoy the series ... The last book comes out in November, and that will be bittersweet.
