It's Christmastime in Boston, and this year the silver bells will be wedding bells as FBI agent Jules Cassidy ties the knot with the man of his dreams, Hollywood heartthrob Robin Chadwick.

The pair plan a quiet, intimate ceremony, to be witnessed by family and close friends from the FBI, SEAL Team Sixteen, and Troubleshooters, Incorporated, including Sam Starrett and Alyssa Locke. But the holiday season brings more to the happy couple than they expect.
A waterfall coming through their kitchen ceiling, a bat colony in the attic, old family tensions . . . even an international incident can't dampen their spirits. I have been working overtime this week and had to have something to listen to LOL so I started a day early. It was really good. Finished it this morning while getting ready for work.

finished and loved Jules and Robin. They are just two romantic clowns. the story with Adam I thought a bit week but understand that the author needed something more than just a romantic story.

Jules and Robin are my favorite couple in this series.

What do you think about how Robin and Jules wedding story was handled by the author? Would you have preferred more singular focus or was it more interesting to have the additional storylines?

I am still going to read this as soon as I receive it from the library. I am next in line.

I loved it as written BUT - I guess it would have been nice to have more of the focus on just them. It seems like we've waited forever for their big moment and there was a lot of other things going on. Having said that, I can't fault the author when one of the things I love about these books is the multiple plot lines! :)

You've nailed how I feel about this perfectly. Even though those storylines were distracting, they were so, so good.

The multiple storylines in these books work for me. Yes, I love Robin and Jules, but I don't expect the whole book to be about just them.

I think there were distractions, rather than other story lines, especially in the Adam-Robot shooter. Would any reader of the previous book imagine that Adam had a chance?

I was actually a little stumped that Adam seemed to think he had a shot with Robin...I felt like it was clear that he didn't. In some ways, I thought the insertion of Adam into this one was unnecessary drama - but maybe it was more about closure. I loved the book either way.

I thought it was closure, too. And Adam is a troublemaker. He knows both Jules and Robin's weaknesses and maybe was counting on leveraging them. I think he underestimated the strength of their feelings for each other.

What did you think of Will? Did you think you could trust him? Did his relationship with his niece affect your opinion?

I loved Will and hope to see more of him and Dolphina in future books. Although I could have given him a good shake a few times.
