I read the whole Bartimaeus trilogy, The Ring of Solomon is a prequel, but just as good as the first three books. Higly recommended to YA fantasy fans

Out of the ones I've read so far, The Screwtape Letters is my favorite.
Death and What Comes Next Terry PratchettI have read almost everything by the late, great Sir Terrry, but managed to find this (very short) story that I hadn't read.
I love all his Discworld Novels, especially the Sam Vimes ones, and the ones that feature Death. If I have a favourite it's probably Night Watch

when I first found Jodi Picoult I loved everything she wrote, then I went off her books, (after reading lots of them I found them a bit same same). Small Great Things is the first one I've picked up in a while and after finishing it, I think it's my definitely my favourite. My Sisters Keeper would be my previous favourite.

Purple Hibiscus. I was amazed at how easily I could relate to the characters although their country and culture were so different from mine. Adichie has a real talent to bring her characters to life.

I enjoy the entire Shannara series. It is one of those series that I read when I need the feeling of a warm blanket wrapped around me. The world is a dark, dark place in which there are some places where we can be safe from those dark things. We can also, with magic, comrades in arms and hard work, defeat them.
