May Contain Spoilers------------------------------------------------- I recently finished reading I Capture The Castle by Dodie Smith. It took me a bit longer than normal to read it but that was because of the old-fashioned writing style rather than it being a boring book. I Capture The Castle was a very down to Earth book and really encompassed society in the 1930's. The different love stories were prominent throughout the book and I am happy to say that I saw Niel and Rose's relationship before we were told about it. However, I wished that the story could have been a bit longer or with a sequel so we can see Simon and Cassandra's relationship blossom as I thought it got hidden behind the surprise of Niel and Rose's relationship. Overall, I thought it was a beautifully written book and I would recommend it to you so long as you enjoy older-fashioned novels.
