This is my first year doing the challenge, though I read a lot of AWW generally.

I'm aiming for 50 total, but more importantly to mix things up a bit by sampling genres I don't usually read.

So within that 50, I'll be aiming for 10 poetry collections, 5 spec fic, 5 'classics', 3 romance, 3 non-fiction, and 3 short fiction collections. The rest is up for grabs.

I won't be formally reviewing, but look forward to sharing snippets and reading along with you all.

Thanks, Brenda. Yes, I filled out the form a few weeks back. (But foolishly chose Franklin - read 10, but not reviewing - rather than nominating my own challenge.)

I'm not comfortable reviewing as I'm a writer myself. It just feels like a slippery slope. I know others find a middle ground that works for them but I'd rather not head down that path. I'm more than happy to share my reading, though, and shout in a loud but unstructured way about work I've loved.

OK fair enough. Not sure how that works with the form for each book, but I guess it'll work out in the end ;)

Well, as I don't quite know what that means, I'm clearly still finding my way. ;) If I run into potholes, I'll leap them as best I can. Given that the sign-up page says you don't need to review, I assumed it was reasonably common.

Haha! I guess I didn't look at that part as I review everything I read ;)
