Thanks for the suggestions. Sadly, have already read The Time Traveler's Wife, but might give The Band's Music from Big Pink A Novella or Kill Your Friends a try....

And I've finished the P, this is taking longer than I thought, keep getting distracted by other books with letters I've already done, I must be more disciplined...

I'm certaintly glad to hear I'm not the only one getting distracted by other things (namely books) here :-)

My good intentions have been foiled too... I seem to end up reading authors with the same initial, which doesn't progress the A-Z challenge at all...

Reading another one that'll help with this challenge, now also reading Green Power by Charles Vrooman, again will update when finished :-D

Finally finished another book for this with Charles Vrooman's Green Power and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a very good environmental thriller with good action sequences and well developed characters, even the technical bits were easy to read.

Finished my E with Bret Easton Ellis' American Psycho and thoroughly enjoyed it. Warning to those of a sensitive disposition though it does get very graphic as the story continues so not for the squeamish :-)

Thanks Liz, I've slowed down a bit of late gotten distracted by other books and challenges, still trying to tie them all together but it doesn't always work :-)

Just finished my W with John "Lofty" Wiseman's SAS Survival Handbook How to Survive in the Wild, in Any Climate, on Land or at Sea. No idea what's next, will have to consult by Hay Book Tower and see ;-)

Argh! Just read one with the wrong letter again! :( Was a good book though (Kissing in Manhattan) so worth it :P

Oh Zoe do you keep getting distracted by other books lol. I've managed to get back on the challenge with The Penguin Book of Welsh Short Stories edited by Alun Richards (I'm assuming I go by the edited and not the author of each story?)

I do! I started reading a new book last night, certain that I hadn't read anything for M, then I logged on this morning and found out that I had, so I'm reading another book that wont help!!

Oh dear lol, that's why I've kept a paper copy of my list as well to try and avoid doing that...and yet I still get distracted by other books...ooops lol

Think I may have to get myself a paper list!!

I find it handy to have on me when in the library as it actually helps me to decide which book to get if I can't decide :-)

Finished my R with the Penguin Book of Welsh Short Stories and found it very enjoyable, quite a mix of human emotion and character and a good insight into day to day life in the smaller Welsh towns and villages.

Have no idea what I'm going to read next, think I'm running out of new letters in my to read pile (thank god it's Christmas soon so more books for me lol)

I'm running out of books to read for my other author surnames too! Think I'll start one for a letter I've already read until I can get to the book shop.
