Each number corresponds with the spot on the board.
For colors: The cover has to be at least 50%
For locations: As long as the book takes part at all in the given location .
For Shelves: Any book on the given shelf
For Publication Years: I'll be using how GR has it's publication date listed.
For Authors Names: The first, middle, or last name of the author is ok.
For Cover Items: Must have the given item on the cover
For Titles: Only the first word of the title. A, An, And, and The do not count.
So if the letter is B: The Best Day would be ok. Dear Betty would not be ok.

Ideas for team names, anyone? :)
What time zones are you guys in? (= Who's awake when we can roll?)
What time zones are you guys in? (= Who's awake when we can roll?)
I'm in EET, so it's 8am for me.
Soo... who wants to be captain? :)
I'm not really feeling particularly creative at the moment, so the only thing that springs to mind as an idea for our team name is "Top Ten"...

A question: is the timezone CST or CDT? All timezone websites say daylight savings is in effect..

Great, no pressure.
But no way I'm getting up at 7am to roll! :P

Fine by me. So you'll be our captain? :D

If no one else wants to, I guess I can be.

Sounds good to me! We should make sure with Jenne that it's okay for someone other than the team captain to roll while you're out of town, though. :)

We had different people roll our dice for my team during round 1.

Actually, Jenne, we are currently IN daylight savings time - CDT. We'll go back to standard CST time on November 2, 2014.

50+ series? Wow.

50+ series? Wow."
I know. I realised the number only earlier when I organised my book shelf. Mostly they are trilogies and some are series that I don't want to continue.
Anyway, I'm thinking I'll go with

Current Spot: 9
Read:
The Memory of Lost Senses by Judith Kinghorn (Alternate: Green Cover)
Finished: 31 August 2014
Rating: ****
Review:
Having enjoyed the author's debut novel The Last Summer very much, I sincerely hoped this one would prove equally good. Suffice it to say, I was not disappointed: Set partially in 1911 and partially in 1923, this mystery-filled historical novel offers an enthralling, melancholic story of love, intrigue, relationships, memory and the thin line between lies and truth. As the story slowly unfolds, I found myself drawn deeper and deeper into the world of these characters and the absolutely beautiful writing style was truly a pleasure to read.

Who can take my place as captain this week and next (since I'll be traveling and might not have super reliable internet connection)?
Someone need to:
1) Make a post with links to everybody's reviews (similar to what I did in post #30).
2) Roll 2 dice on Friday but only once everyone have posted their reviews from this week. Remember that if someone isn't done by Friday, we'll have to wait until next Friday to roll.
3) Post a link to the post from #1 plus what our roll was and what our new spot is in this thread.
4) Tell the rest of the team what spot we're in so that everyone can pick new books.
Let me know if anything is unclear.
In case everyone have posted their reviews before I leave, I can do #1 on Thursday morning. I'll be back in the US on Sep 15.
I can do it if you guys don't mind that I'll be rolling a couple of hours after we're allowed. :)

Read:

One Plus One by Jojo Moyes (Alternate: Green Cover)
Finished: Sept 3, 2014
Rating:
Review:
I had only read one other book by Jojo Moyes, Me Before You. I loved it until the very end and hated the ending. So I was nervous to read this new one. Luckily, I loved the middle and the ending in this one. The characters were quirky but by the end I really enjoyed them. I was invested in their lives and struggles and had a hard time putting the book down.

Alternative - Colour: Green

Book: Blood Game by Iris Johansen
Series: Eve Duncan #9
Date finished: September 2, 2014
Rating: ★★
Review: Eve Duncan and Joe Quinn is once again trying to catch a serial killer who might be involved in the abduction and murder of Eve's daughter Bonnie. I've been reading this series out of order which is a bit confusing, and I thought this one was a bit slow.

Book: The Boyfriend List: 15 Guys, 11 Shrink Appointments, 4 Ceramic Frogs and Me, Ruby Oliver by E. Lockhart
Date Finished:
Rating: ★★
Review: A good contemporary YA. It's a message sort of series but it does not overwhelm the story. I liked Ruby Oliver, liked the way the book was made. I'll continue the series but not immediately.

Book: The Arrow by Monica McCarty
Series: Highland Guard #9
Date Finished: 04.09.14
Rating: ★★
Review:
Kinda disappointed. But only because I didn't like heroine. She was in love with the hero since he got her out of the well when she was fifteen. But from beginning she's lying to him. She gave him wrong name (because she didn't want him to know who's her father) and left him believing she's younger than she is. Then 5 years later she decides he should marry her. Hero is known as most handsome man in Scotland and women trow themselves at him. So what does heroine decide to do to win him? Yep, trow herself at him at every opportunity. There are also orphan children she took in because someone told her they are his (they are not!) and she believes that hero only needs to spend some time with kids and he'll change his mind about being their real father.
Yeah, I really didn't like her.
(Couldn't edit maria helena's post for week 1, so I had to re-do it. XD)
