The Book Thief by Markus Zusak - listening in audiobook format. My drive to work has been dramatically reduced to my move, so I my listening time is also shortened.

This is a conspiracy...i can't read that much anymore, neither I can listen that long either..LOL!

I am reading Vision In White by Nora Roberts.

Last night I started Night Game and the book has mysteriously disappeared. I've searched high and low and it has just... vanished! Ugh... Gator!!! =(

While I try to find it, I'm going to start Wanderlust. I'm also listening to the audiobook of Stray, falling in love with Marc all over again. ;)

Ok, so I just finished Maus I, it ends very abruptly I will need to hunt down Maus II STAT.

Started The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly. So far so good. I can't wait until later tonight when I can read more than a few pages at a time before being interrupted!

Angels' Blood by Nalini Singh is why I am such a big fan of her writing. I hate that I wait so long to get/read her books!

I am currently reading The boys next door, it is a fun easy read. I am also reading Inkheart and trying to read The Fellowship of the Ring.

Finished Maus II: A Survivor's Tale: And Here My Troubles Began :::sobs::: And it was great. Just great. But I should be asleep now, it's freaking 3 am!!!

I started [image error] yesterday at work. I'm enjoying it a lot so far. It's a teen historical fantasy novel with mermaids! That's a new one for me and it's nice to read something a little different.

I also have 1 leftover from an August challenge that I'm not sure I'll bother finishing; . (Sorry Yz!) I don't know if I'm really feeling it. Has anyone else read this series?

I read two challenge books in one day and this morning started on Mistletoe And Murder.
I also learned a valuable lesson, never to start an interesting book in the morning before going to work. I’m constantly wondering just what will happen next and wishing to be home, instead of concentrating on my job.

Just finished Dare to Love by Jaci Burton last night. Now I'm reading Lawman by Diana Palmer. It has been years since I've read Palmer.

Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning, I am really liking this series.

I started Secrets, Skin and Leather by Sean Michael for a readers challenge in my M/M romance group. Its really good so far. I also read a bit more from Beyond the Highland Mist by Karen Marie Moning. I am glad that I have a couple books from this series 'cause it looks like I will be continuing it after this first book.

I'm reading Sundays at Tiffany's by James Patterson. A nice fluffy, quick read before I (hopefully) dig into more meaty ones.

I'm working on a new historical fiction book, Susannah, A Lawyer - From Tragedy to Triumph by Ruth Rymer about a woman who wants to become a lawyer in a time when women were considered unsuitable for the job. So far it's pretty good.

I'm finishing up reading Lucia, Lucia and loving it. This is author is an awesome storyteller.

I love the Spellman Files! I hope you like it. The characters are all so quirky and weird that you have to love them.

Just started an historical romance - The Scot and I by Elizabeth Thornton. Takes place in Scotland in Victorian times.

Today I read a little of Burning Alive (a new PNR series, search link not working, don't know the author). I was waiting so I decided to read a few pages. Not worth setting aside Angel's Blood or Beyond the Highland Mist but it has a decent start.

In the middle of Nalini Singh's Branded by Fire, and hating the idea that I have to be at work right now.

I want to read more about Mercy and Riley.

I'm just finishing up Nora Roberts' Carolina Moon.

I'm just about to jump into my pick-it-for-me book, Life Expectancy by Dean Koontz

I've got three shifter books going at the moment:



It's kind of weird to being reading 3 shifter books because I honestly don't read all that many. I like Mercy a lot though, she's really level-headed and mellow and she's not all stubborn and bitchy like a lot of female protagonists of PNR and UF have become. I haven't read enough of Stray to really get a feel for it yet. Shiver is really intriguing. The chapters kind of flip-flop between the two characters, Grace and Sam, and you get an interesting view into both of their worlds. It's definitely a different take on werewolves too which is nice to read. This also isn't an angst filled teen novel either which is also nice. It's very believable and well written.

Oh, lucky you Mary!!! I am on tenderhooks waiting for our library to get Catching fire in. Without giving anything away, how is it compared to no. 1?

I finished Beyond the Highland Mist and started right on To Tame a Highland Warrior. Karen Marie Moning is a fantastic author.

I read a bit more of Fireflies, even though I am not quite enjoying it I want the pages to count =D.

Tonight I'm going to start Zack by Cheyenne McCray. After a string of mild or no-heat books, I'm in the mood for something I hope will be nice and spicy.;-)

Finished Magic Study, Book 2 in Maria V. Snyder's Study series, last night. It was a pretty satisfying read, and makes me want to pick the next book.

Started Just One Sip, an anthology of vampire romances.

I am reading Blue Moon since I just finished Evermore by Alyson Noel. I'm also rereading Conflict of Honors by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller.

Finished up Midnight Awakening by Lara Adrian yesterday, my favourite of the series so far, and am about halfway through The Winston Brothers by Lori Foster (never read before author for me) - whoa boy, loving that Chase Winston :)

Halfway through Tooth and Claw. It's sitting on my nightstand, but I'm distracted by re-reading other favorites. Just finished Rosemary and Rue An October Daye Novel, which was written by a friend of a friend, and which I thoroughly enjoyed. Also just finished Destined for an Early Grave, which I definitely liked more than the previous book in the series.

I have I, Lucifer Finally, the Other Side of the Story on hold at the library, and Thorn Queen is in transit.

The limit on holds at my library is 20, and I frequently hit that limit with my requests! Other books that I've requested recently include:
Hunting Ground
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Must Love Hellhounds
Darkness Calls
...among many others.

Finished Zusak's The Book Thief last night, after listening to it in small segments for almost a whole month. Yes, my travel time had dramatically been lessened and my audiobook addiction is getting cramped.

All, I can say, is that this is a beautiful book.

Wow! I think the most holds I've had at one time is 5 - right now it's 3, and 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' and 'Girl Who Played with Fire' are two of them. 1st one is the 3rd hold of 5 copies, so I should be getting that soon, but GWPwF is the 6th hold of one copy (one copy in the whole large system?!)

Same here...the last disc made me cry that when I got home, hubby asked what's wrong with my eyes.

Aw! That book is touching sure. I still grieve after Rudy. Damn Zusak.

I'm feeling the need for something different, so I'm reading The Lace Reader by Brunonia Barry. I've heard it had a "Sixth Sense"-like twist at the end.

The Lace Reader? It's on my TBR, yet I haven't heard that much about it. I'm going to be interested with what you have to say, once you're done with it.

Me? I'm finishing Half of a Yellow Sun - turned out to be something totally different than I expected. It's an excellent book but tough to read. Think adultery, think war, think starvation, genocide. Yeah. I'll probably end up giving it 5 start, but boy, am I glad I'm almost done!

Currently reading Paradise Valley (book 7 in Virgin River series) and listening to Empire of Ivory (book 4 in Temeraire series)

I'm reading Blue-Eyed Devil - I stayed up until 4:30 last night reading it, because I was stupid enough to start it before bed. Of course being a Kleypas book, I could not put it down. I really really REEEAALLLLLY hope Hardy redeems himself and turns out to be as dreamy as Gage. REALLY HOPE! Soon, I will be starting Naked in Death decided to give it a try.

I've been working on The Baby Album by Roz Denny Fox. It's a cute, quick read that I'll probably finish tonight.
