Nice to meet you both. I sent you guys friend requests :)
Have you guys played before? Are either of you interested in being captain? I've played a couple times now, but never been captain.
I live in Northern California, love to read just about anything, especially romance and fantasy. I'm also learning how to crochet, which has been a lot of fun.
Where do you both live?

I live in Ohio but work nights so I have a flipped schedule. I have played in about 5 rounds and have been captain before. I can be captain again if no one wants to do it, but I don't mind if either of you prefer to be captain as I am also captain in a few of my other challenges. I also do a weekly update that lets everyone know where all the teams are at in regards to getting close to bingo.
I am horrible at names but have been stuck on SAN- our initials. I haven't yet come up with a good name using those letters and two but I'm still thinking. I hope one of you can come up with a good name because my creative juices are NOT flowing tonight.

I would love for you to be captain if you're sure you don't mind. Team names--well I'm up for anything, so if you can think of something that uses our initials, then that sounds terrific to me. But I'll do some thinking too, and hopefully we'll come up with something :)

Lame, I know. There's always the wordlab, which gave me "Reformed Astro Nerds" right off the bat LOL.
Or Mental Queens?

BTW am in Australia so I am generally time zone challenged also

Could mean that we are nuts about awesome series or that we are series nuts who are awesome.

For Free Space, I'm going to read Archangel's Prophecy by Nalini Singh. It is on the SOS Bookshelf and has 368 pages.

A fellow NS fan! I'm re-reading this series right now to prep for the next book. I love revisiting the beginning of the series, when Elena first meets Raphael. It's so intense. I think the first book is actually my favorite just for that part. :)

Review:
This was just ok. I liked the characters of the Army of Disgrace, but some of the “heavenly parts just reminded me too much of Christian religion and kinda turned me off. Plus, the two sisters Nicola and Laila were a bit annoying. This book, while loosely related to the Lords of the Underworld, didn’t have nearly the depth or complexity of the other series. I’m not going to be picking up the next one in this series.

Review: This is book 10 in the Guild Hunter series. Holly was attacked by Uram way back in the first book. This caused changes within her body that have taken her years to adjust to. However, she is now starting to find a new life, thanks in part to her training by Janvier, Ashwini, Dmitri and Venom. But only Venom treats her as completely normal, encouraging her to not try and fear or hide the parts of her that are different. But now it appears that part of Uram was left in Holly and it is trying to take her over. With the help of Venom, Holly needs to discover exactly what is happening to her and how to make it stop, before her life becomes forfeit. I enjoyed this book quite a bit. I didn't really have a good sense of Venom from the earlier books; I just knew that he was different and had snake like tendencies. It was nice to learn more of him and to see him from the viewpoint of someone who doesn't fear him or view him as different. It was great to see Holly (Kitty) and Venom (Viper Face) together and learn to fully trust each other. I look forward to seeing more of them in the future and will definitely be continuing this series.

Review: Elena is the first angel made in known memory. The Cascade is bringing new powers to the Archangels but has not been active in the past 2 years. Now the Cascade is starting to rise again. But this time, in addition to giving the Archangels new powers, Elena is beginning to lose her angelic powers. It is up to Elena and Raphael to figure this out before Elena becomes completely mortal and vulnerable to death. Along the way, Elena must help solve the mystery of an attack on her brother-in-law that seems to be related to some other vampire murders in the Quarter. I did greatly enjoy this book and it was heart rending to watch Elena lose her powers. There is a cliffhanger ending and I am glad that the next book comes out tomorrow. I look forward to finding out what happens next.

Review:
While this book had a slightly slow start and I didn't immediately warm to MC Scout, I did find I enjoyed this book more the further i got into it. As a book 1 I felt it like it set up an interesting series having read other series by this author set in the same universe, I felt like I could appreciate this book a little more. I am looking forward to learnign more about Scout, her powers and her history and I am interested to see where this series will go. A good first instalment.

Review:
I absolutely adore this series and I loved this instalment. With a mix of new and old characters, this story takes place in the same time frame as the previous 2 books but in another part of the country. I love the mix of humour and drama in this story as the humans and the others learn how to live and start to understand each other as they attempt to ward off the danger they know is coming. I love the characters an the storylines and the different points of view presented in this story. I could read this series for ever and never grow tired of it. I am really hoping there will be more of this series

Review: This book was a heart stopper. The Cascade is at it's peak; Ancients are awakening and Lijuan has returned, bringing her reign of death. The War is upon them. The Cadre is going to have to work together to end this war and it isn't a definite that they have enough power. I greatly enjoyed this book and parts of it made me cry like a baby. It was a heck of an ending and I really hope that it isn't the ending of the series.

Review: It's been a while since I immersed myself in the chaos of Cat and Bones' lives, but once I picked this book, it was like I never left. There was about, oh, I'd say a minute or two into the story where everything is calm and we are enjoying their happy lives together, and then whammy! The action starts and it's a wild ride to the very end. This time Cat and Bones are battling an evil ghost who can somehow become corporeal on Halloween and wreak his evil havoc on women. There's also a new guy in charge over at Cat's old employer's who is somehow twisted and has his own evil machinations brewing. It was great to see many of the old gang around, including Slade and Denise, as well as meet some new characters like Tyler and Elisabeth. I'm looking forward to seeing who gets a new book next time around.
