Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo! Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Captain's Log prior to requesting a stamp
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

This is the first book in the A Witchcraft Mystery. I thought some of the backstory very helpful in understanding Lily Ivory. I really liked her the more the story progressed and then when you throw in Max and Aidan....well things are certainly bound to get interesting. Lily also acquires a familiar who it so happens is a Gargoyle like creature but he's no ordinary familiar - he takes the form of a pig when anyone "non magical" is around...Oscar is adorable. Im looking forward to Lily and Oscar's next adventure.

Review: This has been one of my favorites of the Charley Davidson series even though there didn't seem to be as much action as in some of the earlier ones. I think the reason that I liked it so much is because all of the major and minor characters were involved and I do enjoy all of them. And Lorelei King does a great job narrating. So many things started coming together in this book but in so doing, many new questions come up. The ending was quite a cliffhanger so I'll be reading the next book soon.

Review: MC Alex Craft is a Grave Witch which means she not only can see and talk to ghosts but she can raise them temporarily from the dead. This allows her to question them and possibly solve murders. In this book, the third in the series, Alex is investigating a string of supposed suicides with extremely weird circumstances. The series has some very interesting characters including Death who is also a love interest. Alex also is attracted to her ex-partner, Falin Andrews, but he's out of reach as he is currently in thrall to a faerie queen. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Review: This is the second book in the Shadow Falls series and starts where the first ended. MC Kylie Galen is at Shadow Falls Camp which is a camp for teenage supernaturals. Kylie still doesn't know what kind of supernatural she is and is seeking answers. She sees and talks to ghosts, and one keeps visiting her and telling her that someone she loves will die before the end of the summer if she doesn't save her. Kylie doesn't know who she is supposed to save so continues to try to understand the message the ghost is giving her. At the same time a rogue vampire is watching the camp and killing. This is a good young adult series except for the mandatory love triangle. Kylie is torn between Derek who is half Fae and Lucas, a werewolf. Outside of that, the story is interesting with likeable characters.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book but it really wasn't a bad read....I got bored in some places and it felt a little bogged down but not so overly so that you want to stop reading. Beth is the like the daughter although Gabriel & Ivey & Beth are siblings. Beth the most human of the Angels reminded me of a teenager that is learning just how far you can push the envelope before "daddy" puts a stop to your bad behavior. Beth falls for Xavier, he's the guy that every girl wants & it seems he has fallen for Beth as well. I thought that the book was very well written and gave another side of the Angels as more human than at first realized. Not sure if I will continue with the series or not but for a first time read it wasn't bad.

Oh my goodness - I do believe my kindle needs a bath - talk about "steamy"....the first story was by Lyndsay Sands and stars the Argeneau Vampires...it wasn't my favorite but I still love Argeneau Family...but oh my goodness I adore Cat and Bones the characters featured by Jeanenne Frost...I so hated it that this series ended because it was one of my favorites. I was a little disappointed in that Vlad was not a part of this story but the other cast characters were awesome as always. Im hoping to catch up with the rest of the Argeneau entourage in the next book in the series soon.

I'm not sure what I can add to this last book in the HP series but I can say...wow....I have read the first 6 books in this series at least a dozen times each but the last book - twice - this being the 2nd time. There is so much that happens in this book that it is hard to process. It was much easier to read the second time than the first. I will always love the characters in this book/series. Still hoping that JK Rowling will bring the characters back for another series soon. Not the play books but an actual series.
Sallie, I love the Harry Potter series too! But I have to confess that I have never read the last book even after reading books 1-6 four or five times. I guess that I don't want the series to end. I know it's silly and I really need to read that book!
