This is a Thread where we can talk about the Library challenge.

What books are you reading, What series do you want to see? Anything we can do to improve this challenge?

I hope everyone is excited for this. Mummy and I have been going back and forth all week to pull this quickly together. So hopefully we got it in order and that we all can have fun with it!

I am currently reading Return to the Isle of the Lost (Descendants, #2) by Melissa de la Cruz as my series read book. I hope to have it finished either tomorrow or the day after.

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 988 comments I love the challenge! It will take me a minute to understand it but I'm very excited!

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 988 comments I'm currently reading Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1) by Kristin Cashore and listening to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter, #5) by J.K. Rowling

Graceling I might have done in a few days. HP will take me a couple of weeks.

It is simpler that it sounds I promise. Read a book pick a task it fits for any of the available books and post it. Once a book has all tasks completed for it, a new one will take its place.

Kai Charles(Fiction State Of Mind) (fictionstateofmind) I'm almost done with a book with a Dragon on the cover.

Great job! Looks like we will have some books up soon! I marked you as claiming that task on the SS. :)

aikaterine (missaikaterine) | 51 comments Hey guys, I'm participating with The Fiery Heart (Bloodlines, #4) by Richelle Mead .

I signed up for the 'couple on a cover' task, but it also goes with both the 'school setting' and 'have a vampire' tasks (all in the Twilight section), so if anyone reads a book that goes only with the 'cover couple' task I'm happy to change ;D

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 988 comments So I just finished Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1) by Kristin Cashore took me like 3 weeks but I did it. lol. I really tapered off at the end of the month there.

I think it would be good for 'Read a book where an important secret is revealed.' What do you guys think?

As long as it fits. :) I haven't read Graceling so I can't really say. But I think the letters will usually be easier than the scavenger hunt tasks. :)

aikaterine (missaikaterine) | 51 comments Hey guys,

I started A Court of Frost and Starlight (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3.1) by Sarah J. Maas and claimed the 'C' letter spot (for 'Court') in Twilight, so that we finish this book sooner.

However, do you think it would be better to put it under 'A' ('A Court...')?

Either works, especially this early in. :)

***So recent events a certain readathon has brought to my attention a problem we may even have here. Harry Potter. Some of you may know the problem right now. When Mummy and I created the challenge we meant it to be about the books. But it has been brought to my attention that even that can be hurtful to the trans community. If we have caused hurt or harm in this, I do apologize. That was not our intent by making HP one of our task books.
I know for a fact we have several active HP fans, but IF you are participating in the challenge, or would if it wasn't for that book up there, and seeing HP as part of a challenge does directly hurt you, please let us know (here or in a message) and we will fix it. We try to welcome all book series and do have a recommendation thread for the challenge as well. We know not every book is everyone's cup of tea and not liked by all. We just want everyone to feel they have something, especially if it is a favorite. But if it is directly harming or hurting an active member that is no good. For any book.
If we ever put something up that does hurt you, please tell us. I know you won't always like every book, but true hurt is another matter. Especially if it keeps you from participating. While it is only a part of 1 challenge, if that is too much please kindly tell us. I don't want a repeat here what happened there. On a side note, I am making the executive call to remove the author's name from the challenge task and changing it here shortly.

Is everyone still reading? We are going quiet again. Kai and Cat are doing a great job keeping us going. Hope to see more activity from others soon.
