Let's start the New Year off with a cozy mystery. List books with this theme on this thread. I look forward to seeing your selections. Enjoy Reading, 📚

Jazzy Lemon (jazzylemon) | 5 comments Mmm I do love a cosy mystery! then I started to wonder...How cosy is 'cosy'?

Cosies (or Cozies) apparently are a sub-genre of crime fiction in which sex and violence occur off stage, the detective is an amateur sleuth, and the crime and detection take place in a small, socially intimate community.

Also since it is so close to the end of Christmas, it should not be too late for a holiday-themed story, so i would like to read

The Twelve Clues of Christmas (2012) by Rhys Bowen

Amber Martingale | 340 comments The Mrs. Murphy series by Rita Mae Brown and Sneaky Pie Brown is a whole series of cozies, but one of my favorites from the series is Santa Clawed, the 17th volume of the series.
/book/show/3...

Another one I think would be a good read is Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by JoAnne Fluke.
/book/show/3...

And a third choice would be Cloche and Dagger (Hat Shop Mystery #1): /book/show/1...
