FWI, Cotton Malone is a series of 16 not 15. I only noticed it because I'm reading #13 now.

Good luck in dispatching those rascals.

Almeta - you can use my list all you want! I am currently reading the first book in a new series to be added thanks to you. I am enjoying the first Hawaii book you posted for the monthly challenge.
Thanks, Dom! I hope you have a better reading year!

After I finished it, I bought the other two books in the trilogy. I used the second book for my yearly challenge and I am currently reading the third book.
One Boy, No Water and One Shark, No Swim are done and I am currently reading One Truth, No Lie.
It is a YA series supposedly for middle grade readers, but is a fun story, full of Hawaiian language and imagery. The author included a glossary of terms in all three books. I love the covers!

I will update tomorrow.
I started the third book in the Impossible Times trilogy, Dispel Illusion

Wow! You sure devoured this series in a hurry. I have the first book to read.

I thought the three books were great! They are all actually one long story that takes place over four years. On that same note, so is the Impossible Time series.

The only thing better than reading the books might have been to listen to them - IF the narrator can pronounce all of the Hawaiian words. ;o)

I think we read the first book as a group read or a buddy read a couple of years ago. I liked the second book, just as much as the first book and the author does give an update to what happened in the previous book(s). The third story is a little more convoluted. The story goes back and forth in different years and the D&D story line got very confusing. I am a little more than half way through now. I am just waiting to see where it is going to end.

The Impossible Times series by Mark Lawrence
is Killed!
I have started the third book in the Licanius trilogy. Buddy read with Janice and Esther and others.

I love listening to the narrator say the names. I have requested my library to buy One Step Behind, An Event in Autumn and The Troubled Man but I have no idea if or when they will. I will just have to wait and see and keep checking other sources.
As an alternate, my library recommended The Quiche of Death, so I am listening to it. I am not thrilled about it. She is pretty snooty. I am not sure I want to commit to 33 books at this point.

I am still reading the third Licanus trilogy book. I stopped at chapter 26 and decided to go back and re-read from the beginning because I was missing things. I am back to chapter 23 now, which is where I really started questioning.

Perfectly acceptable to abandon a series!!

I abandoned 3 last year.

I guess I will add a new catagory to my list. :o)
In the past, I just deleted them from my list or never mentioned them.

(I think I added it for the map on the hard cover version.)
A Darker Shade of Magic. There are three books in this Shades of Magic series.

I listen to audiobooks on an iPod Touch. Unfortunately, they are no longer available, except maybe used. I bought the one I am currently using just before they ran out of stock at my local Best Buy store. My previous one had a problem with the battery.
My daughter keeps telling me that I need to upgrade to an iPhone, but I am resisting. Do you use OverDrive for your audiobooks? Your OS probably needs an upgrade but I am not sure what the latest IOS it can take. I think Amy said it is no longer supported though. My iPod is running iOS 12.5.5. I have no idea what the latest iOS is for the new Apple phones. It is all a rat race.
If you are using OverDrive, maybe you can delete it and re-load it again to get the latest version, but I am terrible with tech stuff.
It almost killed me learning how to manage my Android Tablet, after only using Apple iPods from the get go.

I re-listened to the magic book for awhile today. I think it has grown on me. I may add it to my list after I see what else my library has for the other two books. 😁

Steven Crossley’s narration grew on me and I did enjoy the story by the ending. I thought Lila was a great character. I hope to see her in the next story. Nine weeks is the estimated time before the next audiobook will be available from my library.

Great! It was a great price. I hope it works out.

Woohoo! Congrats on one down.

I’m glad you were listening in and helped Roz with the MP3 player. 👏🏻
I am having issues with my Nook Tablet. It is almost out of storage space. I need to buy a new one because the memory is not upgradable. I use it to read the library ebooks I download from my library using OverDrive and for reading Kindle books from my daughter’s account. I am probably going to buy an iPad.

It doesn’t take an additional memory card? Mine did. I’d look at kindle before iPad. They seem to be cheaper and can do the same things.

My Nook Tablet has an SD card but it is almost full and it cannot take a bigger one. I did buy one, but the tablet cannot take it for some reason that I do not understand. It works perfectly but constantly tells me that I am running out of storage space.

There was a Lynn Redgrave's download available, for the first chapter of one of the Narnia books that I have not read yet. It was excellent! I am reading them in Chronological order, so Prince Caspian is the next one on the list for me.

I own the ebook on my Nook Tablet, but the audiobook was available from my library. I was curious about the new narrator. His name is Jefferson Mays. It is not the same as listening to Renee A., who passed away.
I’m a little over the top with books at the moment. My library is serving them up faster than I can get to them all of the sudden. One day it says 4 weeks and the next I am getting a notification that says they are ready!

Are you sure we read the same book? Dom and I didn’t care for it at all.

I don't know now. What did you not care about it? I did not care about the new narrator all that much, but I thought the story was as good (as strange) as any of the others. Coldmoon is starting to grow on me. I am dying to know where the authors are going to take it from here, given the ending. Were you shocked? (view spoiler) Maybe it was just because I waited so long to read it????

I will start #3 in Rick Riordan’s Kane Chronicles, Serpent’s Shadow.
Jane Hawk #3 is downloaded- waiting to start.

I was really looking forward to it, Margo. I will probably read the book at some time in the future.
