Christina Billings, Nick’s chief of staff and Gonzo’s girlfriend, is overwhelmed with childcare and her work responsibilities. She opts to step away from her job, one she excels at and loves. Your thoughts about her decision? Did she have other alternatives?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3376 comments She had options. Like most working women, she could hire a nanny or a daycare. I'm wondering if they are setting her up to be the "good" wife/mother and having Sam fail at the jobs because she is so career-driven. I wasn't a fan of the conversation.

Will Nick give up his aspirations because Sam can't give up police work? The whole conversation didn't fit the story arc so far. She never discussed it with Gonzo.

Sometimes, I feel like Force just throws things in the story because she didn't feel like the series would last as long as it did.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2883 comments The decision to continue working or stay home with a baby is unique to each family and I can see why Christina made the decision she did and I support her in it. Neither she nor Gonzo have typical 9 to 5 jobs and sometimes a sacrifice had to be made for the good of the family.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1763 comments This decision does not jive with Christina's personality and ambition as established in the series to this point.

Again, I have to wonder why Force is focusing on babies, child care, adoption, etc. This is romantic suspense not contemporary romance.

I hated it more because it wasn’t true to the character she’d developed up to this point. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have minded her making this decision. There was so much more to explore. With all of her money, hiring help should have been an option. This came out of nowhere.

Robin (robinmy) | 2413 comments I was surprised. She has money. She could easily hire a full-time nanny for the baby. I find it hard to believe that Christina would quit her job for this. It just doesn't fit with her personality.
