GTK, Jewel. I'll have to see if my library has it. Of course, it best be in eBook format, as I'm afraid to check out paper, what with all this packing, packing, packing...

I got that one from BookBub Lisa. It was the second one I've read in that series and I liked both of them. They are easy to read and fun at the same time.

Which ones? Are you talking the ones with Harriet Vane and starring Edward Petherbridge? Or, my favorites, the ones with Ian Carmichael?

All of the above!

message 22: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) I loved them both, too, Anita! I loved having the Harriet Vane books done. But Ian Carmichael is just so good at playing the inanity!

message 36: by Anita (last edited May 26, 2015 09:54AM) (new)

Anita (anitanodiva) | 286 comments For the life of me I just couldn't understand what everyone was so excited about with this book. Gone Girl was an absolute waste of my time. These two so deserved each other. I did enjoy the writing and the plot was unique, but I had no empathy for either of the main characters.
